- I have collected way too many scraps over the past couple years while sewing, and so to help deal with the amount of fabric scraps taking up valuable storage space I made The ClosetCore Pouf!
It took only a couple hours in total and now my fabric scraps are being put to good use and They are out of my sewing room storage!

An awesome idea! My sewing teacher in highschool actually had us pull all our scraps together to donate to a local animal shelter for dog bed stuffing. But for bigger chunks to keep for potential future use, this is awesome! Definitely gonna make one myself, thank you!
This is an excellent idea-especially when you eventually need a scrap of the fabric for repairs (which always happens to me).
Genius. What a wonderful idea and you still have access to the scraps if and when you may need them. So cool!
We moved this last January. I got a new big sewing room. Need this to hide 40 years of scraps. Yup I moved them for the 19 the time! This is so brilliant!
We have something very similar to that but for stuffed animals. Best $35 purchase I have ever made!
I thought about my scraps but I sometimes go after the scraps from a really old project ( just this week, a pulled out scraps from an early 90s project...I was salvaging the skirt from a dress and needed a long strip...which I had...and actuallY knew what container it was in.. .I've got off-season fabric lengths in one and off season blankets etc in the other
(I also goofed somehow and they are about twice the drafted size.. )
I usually save all my cabbage for making my bustle pads and body padding for my undergarments. Right now I'm saving my scraps to make a quilted bustle pad inspired by the patented pads.
Idea- step stool to help dogs jump onto the couch or bed
Great idea! Thank you!😊
Ohhhh… your proof looks like vintage Lilly Pulitzer fabric. Excellent!
I have that in old t shirts I don’t want to landfill but charities do not want. I need to do this.
I do the same with throw pillows, it’s such a great way to use up scraps
I also make those rounded ironing pillows, and the ones I now use to make lace, oh and pincushions, and even those stuffed animals meant for display only (floral shelf bears sell out fast at my local fairs)
😹😹😹😹I love it great idea and best of all you still have all your scraps on hand if you ever need them😹😹😹 I use my scraps for appliqué work so by the time I’ve i]used them my scraps are really scraps 😹😹😹more like coleslaw 😹😹
Awesome idea. I have lot of scraps and most of diy I see is evern more useless
I am making 2 of those. I have so many scraps. It is insane 😳 Thanks
Love it awesome solutions
wonderful idea
Genius!
You are Amazing
Thanks a lot!
Great idea❤
Super cool! 😎 😊
Thanks! 😀
I saw all those fabric scraps and thought what a neat evening gown could be made from them...
Amazing!!
Love it!!!!😅❤
You should challeng yourself and make a quilted (literally) jacked, dress, or just a quilt from the scraps. There's a lot of big pieces in there too. 😊
That is great idea!! I have wanted to make one of the dresses from seven brides for seven brothers for years, and that could be the incentive to start 😊
That is genius!! 😱
Clever
I like this. Does it hold its shape?
I used a thinner interfacing and a fabric with a slight stretch for my first one and that one did slightly pancake out, but the second one I made with a more sturdy interfacing and fabric has kept its shape! And that is with 3 kiddos playing on it daily!
