    He hits on something really important here. A major hurdle is definitions. "This is what it means to me." I have found before debating any lefty you both have to pre-game it to define certain words or terms so you know wth the other is talking about. Cause half the time people make up their own definitions for words that are NOT accurate

    • @177SCmaro
      @177SCmaro Před 2 dny

      A lot of that is on purposed to obfuscate the issue which makes it easier for them to manipulate emotionally, given "the left" is far more emotionally driven. With the issue confused and vague there is far more room hide.

      Thats why debating feminist is a headache.
      They literally change and mold words and meanings to fit their arguments and argue around those definitions.

    Biblical Christianity is not a subtype of Patriarchy, but rather is the head & locus of all authority, preeminently in God’s omnipotence & sovereignty over His Creation where God has ascribed a servant-leader headship role to the man, and to the man in his husband/father/leader roles. The woman is not created inferior to the man, rather she serves primarily in a most important, peaceable, complementary, matriarchal role in willful submission to her servant-leader husband, where she is essential to a fulfilling, godly family unit that extends outward as the fabric for a healthy culture. It’s about mutual regard between the (2) genders that together under God’s plan for marriage & the family, flourishes.

      Nope.. both are wrong! Feminism is a term that has been changed for years. Feminism firstly was a word made to let women vote, and have human rights and the right to have a job, a proper education and be voted as a president. In modern times, feminism is seen as a word that is for gay women who hate men or just people who hate men.

    Studied and Worked in Human Science and Ressources... half of the stuff was about perceived past traumas of patriarchal views...
    Exemple the oppression of women "maid" taking care of children during WW1...
    Teacher was PHD Spanish feminist single mom with 2 failed relationships and pro socialism against the church...
    She even said "only fans is one of the very few area where women earn more than men and it is Good !"
    Then don't expect anyone leaving Human Anthropology Master Degree without being brainwashed to feel like a victim mentality...

  • @michaelsayen4360
    @michaelsayen4360 Před 6 dny +3

    Actually, it is easier than that. It comes down to authority. Feminism are egalitarians that actively fight against male authority. Egalitarians and feminism have the same goal in mind. Shared authority. However, one is passive, the other is active. Feminists are nothing more than egalitarians that decided to do something about it. This is referred to as dismantling. It is systematically, and sometimes unsystematically, taking political and active steps in ending the patriarchy.

    • @richardteale8203
      @richardteale8203 Před 6 dny

      Exactly! One irrefutable fact that they've displayed repeatedly, is they use the guise of equality to gain authority, for the goal of superiority over men! Sadly most men still have no idea that that's their cunning insidiously sat@nic wicked plan!

    Really. Because that literally isn't the definition.

  • @internationalgolfconstruction

    The cultivation of talent and the entry to any profession including the traditional patriarchal ones such as control of property and politics should be available to all based solely on merit. Currently, much of the world has access to energy and technology, hence, the concern of resistance to women leaving their traditional roles is no longer a threat to the family’s survival. If anything, two incomes may help. Of course there are other concerns and dimensions.

    What does he mean by "patriarchal structures?" That’s kind of the issue here. I often hear people conflate the idea of having male leaders within their own household or simply having a majority male environment as being inherently oppressive. I think this discussion may be touching on the topic of complementarian vs egalitarian views of church and society.

      Egalitarianism is a philosophical perspective that emphasizes equality and equal treatment across gender, religion, economic status, and political beliefs. Egalitarianism may focus on income inequality and distribution, which are themes that have influenced the development of various economic and political theories.

    Marriage, the church and the extended family do not have to be abolished to make equality possible. Equality is not equality of outcome it is just an equal share for the responsibility for well being of the structure be it family or religious community. Men and women can be equal but different.
