It would be supportive to see your outfits also styled with flats. Heels donât work for everyone. When I worked i ALWAYS wore heels. Now I am retired, working as an artist at home but not wearing heels unless special occasion. Seeing more tips on wearing flats for petites would be helpful. It may not be your personal preference but there are a lot of petite women like me wanting to stick to flatsđ
Great suggestions Charlene- Iâm planning some videos on comfortable shoes!

Can teenage boys wear flare jeans and black patent pointy toe pumps?
â@bonniekuhn9665 that's it bangin
Boots or angle height , i struggle with my feet and are comfortable in sneakers and flat shoes
CZcams just now put your channel in my feed. I am so glad! Your channel is exactly what I need for my height and my modest income!
My thoughts exactly đ x
I am 5â8â with a longer body to leg ratio. No matter the height your rules apply. I learned some helpful tips . Thank you.
Glad you find it helpful!
I am with you, her rules and tips are great, I am 5â6â long legs and all her videos on skirts and cardigans/jackets proportions are the best, I just saw them and subscribed. Thank you đ
Iâm 4ft 11 and i cant emphasise how much i struggle with finding the right sized, tapered jeans and jackets with the right sleeve length :(
I have the same issue although I am slightly taller at 5ft4ins. Everything needs to come up on the bottoms and the sleeves get tucked under or rolled up. It's so disappointing when buying a great pair of pants only to not be able to wear them until altered.
Iâm short too 4 ft 11.I struggle lots too
Girl same
Instablaster...
I am also 4'11". That one inch difference to 5ft haunts me my entire life. I feel you.
I associate bell-bottoms with the 1970's. So glad I saved my flared jeans that regained popularity in the late 1990's... from highschool! So many more shorter options for pants now than when I was a teenager.
Love this ! Iâm 5â2â short-legged umpa lumpa, I need this ! Thanks for the help
Even 5'2" would be preferable than 5' even
I love that American eagle has an extra short option! Iâm 5â1 and have bought so many jeans that fit perfectly since Iâve discovered!
Good to know. I didn't know they had an extra short size and I shop there
Um what?! That just made my day thank you for posting this!
I didn't know this. I am 5' and always have issues with length even short length.
I've been buying X-Short for the last two years and that changed my life! đ„°đ„° I donât buy any other jeans now.
Good to know!
Haha I love being petite too, 99% of the timeđ except when looking for pants. đđđ»
Iâm 5ft 2in.
Same lol
Thank you so much for explaining rises and âcropâ tops--I am tall, but I actually have short legs (and a long torso). I didnât realize what I was doing wrong. I just knew low rise jeans are uncomfortable on me and donât look good. Now I understand why!
I love your confidence!!! You let us see your flaws and that shows real self-confidence and love đ§Ą
Thank you!
I love your transparency!!! You definitely keep it real and I appreciate that. Thanks for being brave enough to share your âwhole youâ with us, your subscribers!!! This video taught me a lot about the best jeans for my body type. Definitely a đđœ
Thank you Sheila!
Nice commentâ€
Great knowledge, but where do I shop for them? That's an entirely new topic. It's brutal! Several styles, sizes, cuts ect..
I am so glad I found you! I am 5'2" and am frustrated with pants length. Now I know what to look for, I can skip trying on so many pairs of paints! Thank you.
Extremely helpful. So many of my almost new jeans end up being donated to a charity shop because they just donât look right on me. Thanks to your video I feel more informed and can now find some jeans that will look and feel more flattering on my figure. You explain everything very clearly. Thank you so much.
Iâm so happy I found your channel! You actually have the best fashion advice for us short people! Please keep making these videos. I love flare-leg jeans!
Thank you! So glad you like them!
Finding the right length, petite as I am can definitely be frustrating. Thank you for the important tips. It comes handy & helpful. Make it a great day.
So informative! I agree with your flare legs point!
Iâm so glad I found you I struggle to wear clothes daily
I m very happy I found your channel two days ago. It's the best channel for petite girls!!! You cover every subject to perfection! Thank you
Totally agree! I have just subscribed an hour ago. Your contents go much beyond those general tips that are everywhere and have become redundant.
Wonderful, wonderful channel and videos packed with supremely helpful advice. You deliver the content and tips so perfectly-thank you!
Not a single dislike. You are perfect! đ And you have a very lovely audience.
i'm not sure about the flared jeans. i have short legs/ long torso and muscular, thicker legs. i also have an hourglass shape more leaning towards inverted triangle. i find the flared jeans emphasize my thicker thighs. my favorite are super high rise tapered jeans. they look best on me if they fit a little loose around my thighs. great tips!!
Can I ever relate! I have hourglass or pear figure and so tight on the thighs. Another thing, when shopping on-line, no way to narrow down your search to select high waist. đ
Same for me, the thighs are so tight.
I've been buying "curvy" jeans to help with this pickle. They come in so many sizes too! So even if you're petite, curvy jeans are available and give room in the thigh area. Hope this may help!
I agree. I donât find flared jeans flattering on short legs. Plus you have to wear them with heels and who has time for that??
I have big thighs so flare doesnât look good on me. I love curvy jeans too.
Some really really useful advice and practical tips for dressing smart. And I love your sense of humour â€ïž Great channel!
Me too!
I am very impressed with your Presentation. You are interested and knowledgeable about US Petite ladies who struggle with our Comfort and Presentation. I appreciate you and please continue on your Journey
Thanks for the information. I am 4â11â. This helps me understand and not feel awkward. I do not buy jeans because they are hard to find the right fit. This helps when looking for one now. Thank you
I buy jeans at Marks and Spencer. I'm 159cm and have short legs. It's the only jeans I don't need to shorten. Their jeans come in 3 lengths: long, normal, short.
I just ordered and the short trousers were way too long, the short jeans were a little too long- but, I thibk they ahve extra short as well đ at least for some of their jeans. Will try those!
Wait can you tell me an alternative store that does this long normal short thing effectively in the United States??? I'm desperate
@@hyukri I'm sorry, I live in Greece, never been to the US. I don't know if there are stores in the US that use this system. If there isn't though, you now have a great idea you could make money with if used properly. đ

You don't need to improve, you're such a lovely person. Love your advise too!!
Thank you so much! â€ïž
Just found you and the information on jeans is great! I am 63 and petite 5.1 1/2 and have a horrible time finding jeans that fit. Especially now with COVID-19 and dressing rooms closed. You have a lot of good tips. You to apply those and others you suggested. Thank you! đ
Glad you found them helpful Robyn!
Even though jeans are labeled as high waist, some of them are middle waist for me too! Your videos are what I needed. Thank youđ
Glad you like them!
This was excellent. So comprehensive. You are very good at what you do, My Friend! Thank you so much.

Great vlog. Iâm 5â 1.5â. My inseam is 28 inches or less. I learned a lot . Thank you.
Wanda- your inseam is very long for petite woman!
Just discovered this great vid of yours! Thanks for sharing, really appreciated!
Glad you like it!
Your videos are so informative. I just subscribed to your channel. Thank you and keep up the great work..
I am 5'. I don't have short legs. I have my pants hemmed at 26", to touch the top of my foot. I am short-waisted, short torso, apple body. My best size is XL, or Petite 16. Yes, petites are for 5'4" women. But that 4 inches in the armpit is a HUGE difference. I really enjoy your channel.
I am 4'3 and it is hard for myself to find jeans because some stores will not measure your waist on just what size or shape you wear in a pair of jeans
Your response to the store cashier đ so funny! Great video!
Love your content! Is so useful!
Chi Li, you always read my mind!
Muchas gracias, ahora por fin podré comprarme un par de jeans !! ME ENCANTO !!
That's me all the time when buying jeans! đ I'm quite short and struggle a lot finding the right size! Thank you for this great video!! đ€đșđ
Thank you, Deicy! âš

You have inspired me to buy high-waisted jeans I have been wearing low waist jeans omg thank you thank you thank you
My problem is I can never find high waited jeans for my height, I rarely find them.
i'm almost 27 and just now learning how to dress my petite body and find my personal style - thanks to your videos! i've been binging your content nonstop the past week as i prep to update my wardrobe for the first time in years :)

Old navy Petite is amazing FYI ! Iâm 4â11
Just love your tips and videos!Thank you
I appreciate that! Thank you, Lisa! â€ïž
I enjoy watching this it really does makes some good sence for all women just to try on a pair of jeans
This is getting harder with online shopping which is so convenient. I do purchase most of my jeans from the same store that I have been going to since childhood. Luckily there is one where I live in rural Australia. I have purchased some from online shopping and have been successful each time but I do prefer to try them on if possible.
I enjoy your videos so much! They are entertaining and informative. The plight of petite styling is improving a lot. I am 5â3â with ample curves and long legs! Thanks for the tipsđ
Youâre so correct with the elongating your legs by wearing flared jeans & heels when the jeans covers half of the heels. I usually have a flared jeans for pointed stilettos . i have flat shoes for wide leg pants. Love your blogs
Yes! Thank you!
Iâm 67 5â3 new subscriber to your channel. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for subbing Linda!
You give such good advice.
Thank you for explaining so glad you did.this is my first time to see you very .
So glad I found this channel!đ
I'm so glad! Welcome Carrie!
Thank you đ it makes so much sense once you explain it.... Iâm only 5â 2.5â and I struggle with so many of these issues!
I think you should try lofts petite jeans. They always work for me.
Love your content so much! đđ€â€ïžđ
Glad you enjoy it!
Hi! I'm 5'0 feet petite hehe - I usually get 28" or 30" length mid-rise jeans that are straight or bootcut - they're the only kind that actually fit me without the need for any tailoring! Love your content...
I'm 5' 4". I'm too tall for petite jeans and too short for regular jeans. I just bought some wide leg INC jeans from Macy's as a last resort. They fit great!!! I can wear a comfortable 4-inch heel with it, maybe even a little lower, and it looks great!
Thank you so much for this video! You are a fashion genius
Aw! Thank you, Chantal! I really appreciate that â€ïž
Very informative video đ.
I am 5 feet tall....so this has been a pants issue for a long time.
PS new subscriber!
I just found out that high-rise doesn't work for me because I need a very short rise. Regular sizing with a short inseam doesn't work because the rise isn't proportioned. I'm 5 ft 2 in and I think I've just found my jeans. Mid-rise petite jeggings that are exactly like jeans. I can flip the waistband over too which I almost always have to do. I must have tried on 100 pair of jeans! LOL. Love your videos which I just found! Excellent explanations and diagrams. Subbed đș
Recently found your channel and the info so helpful. I'm a low heel, flat shoe or sketchers person and unfortunately it looks like flares are not going to work with that - thanks for the tips - saved me making mistakes.
I'm a low heeler too, (except danskos) but she looks so good (and honestly comfortable) in all her non flat shoes I may take a second look. Maybe she could do a "non flat shoes that are actually comfortable" video.
You are soooo right. Iâm 5â2â
Omg I have short legs and I understand completely this so annoying
Thank you for sharing this video đ
Hehehe.. with glasses on nearly looks same as you okay ? Highrise jeans have known about those since I was younger at my 30s .My body too looked as yours when I was in my 20s Im 62 yrs now, struggling belly fat and goes for healtier diet on Monday. Thanks for this video.
Hi! This was my first video of yours and I loved it! Iâm 5â0â so any tips will be greatly valued. I really REALLY love the dark wash jeans in the video and appreciate the link to a similar pair, but can you tell me - what Brand was the Original pair shown in the video? Just want to keep an eye on that brand in the future.
TYIA! I have already subscribed!
I followed you when you first started posting content and you have really improved your channel. I stopped watching because the sound was poor but now your videos are concise and easy to listen to. Well done!
As a five foot woman Iâve actually found it difficult to find bras and underwear that fit well on my tiny frame. The bra in this video looks awesome. Where is it from and do you have suggestions for what to look for when buying undergarments. And yes Iâve tried petite bras and I find them uncomfortable and hard to source
Great to have you back! Most of my bras from Wacoal.
So helpful thank you so much!
Bless you! I'm 5'1" and I love jeans, but most of them don't love me. I'm on the hunt for a pair of trouser jeans. It's not happening thus far. But, I'll try a flare!
I am so happy with you Chi... I am only 4"10... All your videos are soooooo helpful for me.... Thank you oh so much!!!
You are so welcome! âŁïž
Omg you have inspired me to get back in my jeans I will go and buy high jeans
Love your content, Chi! You've taught me so much.
Any tips for short girls with muffin tops? My muffin top has been my lifelong companion so it's not going away any time soon and I would like to look my best!
I totally understand as I also gain weight first on belly! I'll talk more about how to look good if you have muffin tops!
Great useful video thank you! Another tip for us shorter leg ladies that personally is huge for me is to either try to have your shoes the same color value as your pants or a nude/ tan / beige colored heel. Also, I do much better with heels that the details, I believe it's called the vamp or Top Line, don't come too high up on the foot. Lastly, for my body type which is petite and larger legs relative to my body, I do much better when there is less contrast color difference between my belt and my pants. I hope this information is helpful.
I completely agree with all of these statements!!
New subscriber !! Love your channel so much I am 5 ft 2 and a size 16 đ©I have so much trouble finding jeans that fit . Ty ty ty â€ïžđ
Thank you, love! Check out some of our best jeans!

Great video! I am the shortest of the short at 4â11â.!!! I have too much weight on my body currently. I can be an 8 or 10 p but this year I have been a 14p or xl. I can wear jeans at work if they are black only. I have to wear flat comfortable shoes for standing for up to 4 or 5 hours. Ugh! I have to try high waisted. I havenât yet.
Once you find a good pair of high waisted jeans youâll never want to take them off!
Iâm 5â0 and wear a US size 0 in jeans. I cry almost every time I have to get new jeans đ
There's no such thing as a size under a 3. They just want women to lie to themselves and think they are skinnier than they are. Anything under a 3 is a girls size.
I love your advice. Can you recommend brands that you find fit you - as in your favorite jeans that you are showing in this video. Thanks so much.
The olive and the dark wash ankle jeans were both from petitedressing.com, but now sold out. Joeâs jeans and Jbrands are both great brands.
You are very pretty. I am pale complected like you and often I feel pressure to use tanner, but there's nothing wrong with our skin.
Thank you Erin. I tan some in the summer, and it gets pale again in winter.
Omg this video is amazing
Thank you so so much đ
0:12, Chi, you look so so so cute with this sunglasses !
Great video as usual, thank you very much đ
Glad you enjoyed it!
Girl thanks for this. Hahaa I laughed at the âankleâ jean thing - hahah!
Really informative video. I will be watching the other recommended video as well. I always hear people recommend high waisted jeans but the ones I've tried have bunched up in the pelvis area which I don't like so I'm still searching and I try to primarily thrift which makes it a little tough. I've found out that time and tru petite fits me nicely and I'm 5'2" I've also had luck buying crop pants as regular pants!
Iâve never bought a pair of jeans that I didnât have to get taken up (except ankle length jeans, as you stated) which can ruin the cut/shape of them. It sucks!
Iâm not petite but my mum is and I want to give her tips!
