Been running this build for xp for years. Slightly differently… I forsake the eclipse bag for an electrique with creeping death. All yellow/status on all. I run it with the crossbow to one-2 shot warhounds. I’ve got 20-22 levels an hour when EVERYTHING lined up right but you are correct, usually 16-18 an hour. 😊Level 20,000+ player here. Everything set to challenging w/ 4 directives… I keep the skills one off because I’m lazy and do mostly everything from cover at a safe distance.

i like a particular control point, with my skill build i can do this one heroic with 3 whichamacallits in 10 minutes without moving from where i start it, because of the geography of the cp. good stuff.
I’m eager to try the status effect build I don’t have the scorpio still trying in countdown but in the attempt to get the catharsis mask I got the vile to drop instead. I’ve not had any ideas for the vile mask until I saw your video much appreciated😊👌🏼
So, my strategy is to whenever possible do executions in sequence, with the first bounty target open so subsequent bounties get automatically archived. That means you should group other types of targets first, because executions remove non bounties from the area. I don't do a controlpoint reset because it takes extra time. I do the entire map, then switch to another character. I always do WONY the day before a global event and leave it up to accumulate SHD levels .

Returning player and just beat NYC dlc and at the lvl40 mark and no clue what I needed to do so iv got some videos to watch now lol
Random comment on eclipse build. If you are looking to max your tick damage DtA scales the fire damage. DttoC further scales Vile ticks (along with +status which are the default secondary rolls on gear).
The "best" pistol is actually a sawed off (dta and dttoc) with the talent you want *OR* the firewall sidearm because of the debuff it applies. With the (very short!) fire resistance applied you can set fire to tech which otherwise ruins your day. This also allows vile to tick on their health.
In general, tech and heavies ruin your day with that build.
Likewise the best off piece is contractors with a yellow core and status.
@@grumpyoldman6503foxs prayer are stronger unless you’re running pestilence. Maybe.
@Ibsmokin fox's (dttoc)don't scale tick damage for skills, but does for vile. DtA scales both. Vile damage is a small portion. It's also why a shotgun is ever so slightly better than capacitor but doesn't really matter much except if you swap weapons and are using your fire sticky or a chem launcher and even then you have to swap to holding it to see your tick damage go up from the DtA and vile further buffed by the dttoc (weapon has to be in your hand nit just equipped).
No room 4 both in the build.
I feel like if you aren’t using the fire sticky you should be running the bulwark shield. I would also swap the scorpio for pestilence especially if you’re running contractors. I guess it doesn’t matter though as ammo is an issue and you don’t need it much.

I think your videos are always good. However, I think one thing you are forgetting, especially for new players and possibly returning ones, is that they may not have the gear pieces you mention or the resources in order to re-roll the talent or attributes or optimize them. That could take a lot of Countdown farming to get the right pieces so even though your methods are very efficient, they can require a lot of setup.
Another method if you do mind extreme repetitiveness, clear the Overgrown CP (which is close to The Attic safehouse) and then reset the control points. It should take maybe 5 minutes max per clear/reset. This also helps quickly build up the coveted field recon data.
It takes more than mere seconds each fight for people that don't just one shot everything like in the video.

Other reason to choose CP if new is there are ~300 recipes to unlock from clears.
BIG POINT ABOUT BOUNTIES: When you go into the map to start a bounty, the ones with either orange or teal/blue/green diamonds (may differ based on colorblind settings) are seasonal and clan bounties, and are setup to give more rewards than just the standard ones. They may be lower tier difficulty, but if you're needing points to level up your specializations, look at the ones with diamonds first. Cheers!
Also, for White House area bounties, clear the CP north of the White House (the bank one), and trigger your bounties from inside that bank area. They should all spawn right down the street from there. If you trigger the bounties closer to the park area then they will spawn down south of the fuel depot CP and that's a more confusing area to run them. North White House bounties can be pretty quick, but you have to mind your cover and not get flanked, which can happen pretty easily if you're trying to run a close quarter setup. ARs, mmrs/rifles and LMGs are great though. I do these all the time, not so much for XP grinding, but to test builds. Cheers!

At least for myself on a keyboard and mouse I found CP's with the one shot build far quicker in comparison to the PE's with the skill build
I told the new guys in my clan to put it on challenging with 4 directives and roam the open world. Also try and find 3 other players to grind with and exp will happen. One guy jumped 300 lvls in just 2 weeks.

i cant play with 1886 ive done the whole build like u, but i cant stack against all elites because im not killing with headshots.
The idiots that say "60 Levels an Hour" posted a video of them clearing an activity in 1 minute, and leveling up in the process and then Multiplied that 1 minute by 60, and came to that conclusion, completely disregarding travel time, etc, lol.. 🤦♂️🤷♂️

Does having skill haste mean picking up less green thingys? Or does having that directive active kinda make skill haste redundant? I don't really like playing with directives, especially that one. But that eclipse protocol build looks fun.
No haste needed cuz of green things. Yes.
The higher your haste the shorter the CD before you can reuse a skill.
The number of "bits" required to reset the skill scales with what the CD would have been but there is a minimum of 1 and it's a bit "chunky" in the mapping.
Most skills with no haste take 3-4 "bits" to reset (eg your heal drone). Sticky is 4 IIRC.
Charged skills particularly suck with skill directives.
With Determination the Flamethrower was about 20 - 22 Levels pr. hour with luck and focus xD

Your 1 shot kill and born great build have tremendously improved the quality of life for the game. I'm sure I can speak for others when I say, we are appreciative to your guides and little tips and tricks you show us.
Blueprints are obtained from LV 4 control points. once you cant obtain them anymore then you will have to do descent for them

Every Div2 content creator keeps bragging about this or that build.
Your builds have proven to be the most reliable In the past 5 year.
Yet I've never seen any builds specific to bounties.
Can you help us out?
Having to re-do an entire bounty/mission because you died at the very end on a stupid mob that was left over is just ...argh!!! ;-) 🙂
Honestly? I apologize Tux if you mention this in the video, I havent watched yet. But Headshot builds on Heroic with atleast 3 directives rule yes. BUT. On controller this can be hard to pull off for a lot of people and you end up dying more than gaining xp. By FAR the best build I use to level is 4 piece Hunter with Memento Backpack and Obliterate Grupo Chest. Oroboros or SMG. Technician spec. Stinger Hive and sticky bomb. Play on Challenging with all directives. Run in drop Stinger, kill two with pistol and start mowing everyone down with SMG. Do ONLY Hostage and in between Broadcasts. It takes two of these to level up and both can be done together in under 2 minutes. No chance of death unless you play really stupid. I gain on average 10 to 20 levels an hour. It is so much better than sweating on Heroic. Im a long time veteran player and I can easily handle Heroic but I still die due to bumrushes and the endless loops of other things happening during events. Its fun but not good for leveling.

Okay so I’m watch level 165 so I am like very new. I’m assuming I’m missing something but why wouldn’t you change the difficulty to normal or hard even and just fly through content? The difficulty doesn’t change the experience rate right?
Yeah it does? A heroric activity, say public execution with 5 directives nets you something like 520K XP (+kills,bonuses etc), a hostage rescue on normal and no directives would be like 100K off the top of my head. Highlight it on your map and it will show you the XP for your world settings. I just bounce between public executions and territory controls, 1 of each of those gives me a level. Why those 2, because they are the highest rewards for less effort IMO :) Gets boring though, so I only do it for say a special apparel event.

I use a one shot build now as well but I changed a couple things. I am running Chainkiller with crit chance, headshot damage attributes and a headshot damage mod. I left it red core as well. I do not have a Nemesis yet so I am using a God rolled White Death and an 1886. I can kill anything in one shot. The highest shot I have see so far on the White Death was 68 million. I am still using the 4 piece HF though because that debuff is just to good on a run and gun. This build helped me clear the event already, both of them
Man I miss my 1886 HF chainkiller build.
The problem being low shd lvl agent when trying farm gear to make some built in the countdown is mostly being reject and kicked out by high shd lvl leader.
Dont get me wrong. Not all high shd lvl leader do that. but mostly. its because they dont want wasting time in countdown with low shd lvl agent

I've never was kicked from a team. I was the team leader 3 times and people never left my group.
I think people check your build, when you open the countdowm team window, you can see the set item and specialization of your team members.
Don't push for it for now, focus on open world activities, and missions and floor 10 summit to craft a proper build you don't really get respected in countdown if you have less than 500 shd level
So theyve nerfed the fuck out of perfectly determined apparently. you cant just chain body shots together anymore. i logged in for the first time in months today and i swear all my builds are somehow now useless in heroic missions. prophet + gunslingers holster + chainkiller used to be so fun but perfectly determined now says killing an enemy while the talent is active wont retrigger it, and i cant tell if thats the case with regular determined weapons too

From 2020 till April 2023 i only got up to SHD level 1437. From April 2023 to May 2024 SHD level is 10249😂😂😂😂

Pile up bounties for that zone and use when nothing better is spawned and targeted loot is favorable.
@@TuxedoBandidooh forgot heroic bounties have 3 named bosses, not just named elites. Named bosses drop the faction stuff you need.
Bear in mind the directives for open world change every season (minus Fog of War).
There is always an ammo directive (pistolero or ammo hoarders).
There is always an armor directive (fragile armor, no regen, hard 2 earn).
There is always a skill directive (cool skills or scaveneged skills).
There is always an enemy buff directive (special ammo or ragers).
This season is IMO the worst possible combination. Yay.😢 😢😢
Never farmed xp. So it took me a long time. I got like 30 days played on this game and I’m about 30 levels away from 1k. I have finally arrived. Lol

Goes without saying but these can easily be run on lower difficulty and less directives if you don’t want to be “try hardy” that’s fine but he’s just giving “the fastest way to level up” guide so more directives equals more xp
The entire first section is about how running Challenging is fine
LMAO. This is why what the developers did to balance XP over all activities wasn't damn needed. Players are always going to go for the activities that grant higher XP. All they did was force players to just run Public Executions, Bounties, and Control Points. Before the so called balance. The activities that was worth doing for XP was Elite activities, Control Points, Public Executions, Bounties and Conveys. Their balance to all activities did nothing but limit/ axe half of them.
Correct. Also territory controls which aren't worth doing after the rebalance other than to clear that spot for a different/better activity to spawn.
What they really needed to normalize was the mission XP. Time per legendary or different missions with same base XP awarded is a joke.
Same for raid and incursion. Not even a damn weekly project for those.
1 through a 1000 isn’t anything. Those runs through N.Y for expertise and the exotic component bottleneck is ridiculous. I can’t imagine what a new player would think when playing this game.
It used to be more fun, 1 to 1000 is actually not that bad compared to the expertise system we have today. (i guess Ubisoft felt they needed to follow Blizzard and Co in forcing their userbase to grind endless useless hours .. so I'm glad there are other games that provide better fun meanwhile)
Note that when you reach 1000 SHD lvl, any points you gain after that are basicly useless. Focus on getting better gear and builds after. And don't spend expertise past lvl 12-13. Not woth it! (only main weapon and main skill) Good luck and have fun!
