I would start with following artists that you like. Then find things that you like from their work. Whether its color, shading, line or depht. Then just simply figure out how to incorporate that into your own work. You can watch tutorials or just simply the artist's process if you can't figure out how to replicate that :)

    1. Don’t water down your paint as it can make it streaky, instead to want a creamy consistency
    2. Use it a dry brush to blend your wet paint but make sure to wipe the brush off each time
    3. Use a little blue for the whites of the eyes/ mix each primary color with white
Lol this comment is more so for me than anyone else, I need to summarize your points to make sure I got it and I’m always rewatching your videos

I find it important to never force myself to paint or draw as it often leaves me disliking it for a while. If you do it when you’re inspired and motivated then you will get much better results even if it means taking a few days or even months inbetween paintings /drawings.

I started taking up art again, so I’m pushing myself to learn acrylic, water color and oil based paints. Although I don’t have a lot of perspective or anatomy drawing experience, I keep winging it. My learning process is different due to my dyscalculia (like dyslexia, but with math and other weird stuff).
