Good video on mixing. Good subject on the spoons. Helped me a lot with finger nail polish paint scheme for a stingray corvette. I almost got it first time but damn if I missed a few spots!! Thanks for the info.
I didn't know about the shaking bit. I just stirred the crap out of them with a stir stick. I was able to get Replenishing Agent to work on the Mr. Color Flat Base items as well, which were quite a task to rejuvenate.
Works with Tamiya acrylics perfectly. Works with Mr. Hobby Aqueous perfectly. Works with Mr.Color Super Metallics very well too. But definitely NOT for Mr. Metal Color. For that, 99% IPA works well.
Wait... this stuff actually works perfectly for Tamiya acrylics?? It doesn't have adverse reaction with its solvents? I thought this stuff was purely for mr.color lacquers.
50 percent for new bottle easy to do, if you've never used the paint. If you already used half the bottle, then you cannot measure by the stock full bottle...Best to add 1ml first, then slowly add another 1ml until the viscosity is correct, this way you won't end up over-adding the replenisher on used bottles.
I cut the segment for time, but I did try it on some older Tamiya Acrylics, and it did work with those really well. I wish they'd have a similar acrylic products, my brother would love that.
Awesome colors and Great video. I have Singer sewing machine with crazing on the clear top coat. everyone thinks it's lacquer (the sewing crowd), Will this revive the clear coat, or will some other technique work better,, or Should i not touch it. ? Thanks or the video
I had some super metallics that were only 2 yrs old and gummy I tried product on one just to see if it would work and it did so not sure why bottle recommends not to use with metal colors!🤔 Jman
I've heard this a few times, I think that it is true, but there are a lot of things that will act like glue. I forgot to mention Ron I've been locked out of my Instagram account for a while now, so I'm sorry if you've been messageing me. I'm not sure how to get the account back.
@@rebelsatcloudnine it’s okay mate. You’ve not missed much. I’ve re sprayed and decaled the air bus again. I did not like the look of it. But this time I am happy. When I finish the airbus I will past it on here. I am going to start my channel up again.
I've heard that if your store the pots upside down it'll prevent the drying from occurring
I'm going to have to look into this. I have an old set of Mr. Hobby Yamato colors that I ordered years ago for my Bandai kit.
Thank you, a much needed product

I thought so as well, and then I tried shaking it and to my surprise it didn't take as long and seemed to be mixed better.
Sir, you are a goofy guy. Love your channel. =)
Thank you very much :)

I've used them with super metallics too but what's the problem with metal line aren't they lacquer based too?😳

Mr. Metal Color appears to be alcohol bases. This is probably what makes them buffable.

That is an awesome product. I really hope they/some make an acrylics equivalent.

I WISH I would have know of this product 12 months ago - I threw out so many Evangelion colour sets.
Sounds rubbish, can someone explain why can’t I just use thinner ?
The restorer has coating resin which keeps it viscous, a thinner would make it runny.
Lacquers do not hold like enamels (+20 years)??
No, but they are better than enamels in almost all cases, except for smell
I have a question. Some people are saying you can use Tamiya airbrush cleaner as glue! Is this true?
