Last game vs the T-wolves was one of the first times I think he had a 40 point game with 10+ assists. Usually it’s one or the other. If he’s dropping 40 it’s because his teammates shots aren’t falling.

Half true, most of these games happened because the nuggets offense was performing poorly outside or Jokic, and he had to resort to doing it all himself.
It’s not like just letting Jokic score is a good strategy, he will rip you apart apart.

@rmickyminecraft3496 but notice you said the rest of the offense was playing poorly Jokic wants to get his teammates involved that's how the Nuggets are unstoppable but when his teammates aren't hitting shots and he's mostly taking 2's and doing it all himself it's easier to beat the Nuggets despite Jokic going for 40

There’s not really a magic shut everyone down on the rest of the nuggets button. Especially since the beauty of Jokic is usually in some sort of 2 man action with Murray or Gordon etc.
Sometimes Murray is hurt or the team is having bad shooting nights, but that’s usually unrelated to other teams game plans. It’s not like you can just pay less attention to Jokic and magically stop the rest of the offense.
Believe me I love basketball but not as much as I love Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. Sports are really great but it’s important that we do not turn this or anything else we’re passionate about into an idols. The Bible says that we are to worship God alone and nothing else, not to have any “Gods” or idols before me. We serve a mighty God who is holy and just, worthy to be praise. I heard this one line that I really like and has really stuck with me. We were all made created and made to worship something great, problem is we don’t know what that great thing to worship is so we turn to other things and substitute that instead of the one true God who formed us and knows more about ourselves than even we do.
