I found your channel while planning my trip and have been hooked even since. I can’t wait for more Disney reflection videos. My husband and I loved watching this video so much! We had our first trip together to Disney World in 2007. We stayed at Pop Century and had the dining plan. We had no money either so it definitely felt like magic to have everything included. It was so fun to see all your photos, hear your stories and reminisce on our own first trip. 💖
We all just enjoyed Dave’s American Idol performance!!! How did we miss this???? It was terrific and we also enjoyed the “wee message” hahahaha 14 followers....well LOOK at you now!! Your excitement when talking about this gives me goosebumps as it’s how myself and my husband like to reminisce abut our trip. We went in June 2018 for our honeymoon and honestly talk about it at least once or twice a week. Can’t wait to go back with my future kids and introduce them to the magic.

This vlog made me feel so warm and fuzzy inside 😂 it’s so nice reminiscing about first trips. On my first trip with my husband in 2014, we were driving back from universal and someone caught our attention at the traffic lights because the key to the car was caught on the boot of the car! my husband put it on top of the car and drove off with it there! So lucky that it didn’t fall off! The funny thing was that we’d been to islands of adventure and got soaked (obviously) so he’d taken his shorts off and was driving in his pants so had to get out of the car in his pants to get the key 😂 We also got an upgrade in our villa so it was just the 2 of us in this huge 5 bedroom villa, the best trip we’ve had by far ☺️

I also did the American Idol experience in 2012. I, too, felt really regretful about the amount of time it took for the competition. Even so, one of my favorite Disney memories came from this day. When you get through the first audition, they film a “she’s going to Hollywood” clip of your family celebrating. My sister’s boyfriend, who is just outlandish, over-the-top, and super unpredictable (he will do ANYTHING to get a laugh) pushed through my family screaming with his hands in the air and pretended to faint. The cast members absolutely lost it laughing. When they played the clip for the audience, the entire theater was in stitches. Despite regretting the whole thing, because it took so much time, I look back on that memory so fondly 😆 thank you SO much for sharing yours, I absolutely love hearing about other people’s first Disney trips and best Disney memories. Looking forward to more content from you guys! 💕

I loved this! And can’t wait for Disney Fridays ;) this video reminded me of the first time I took my husband to Disney world Florida after going yearly with my family it was honestly the most magical holiday and being able to see it all through his eyes and sharing the experiences with him! Honestly no trip since has felt more magical than the first with him, but each gets better in its own way! Always say this to him but you two remind me of us in so many ways! Keep safe ❤️

Yay Disney Friday’s!!! I was so used to going to Disneyland every Friday, I’ve been having a hard time not going and who knows when it’ll open. I love the story of your first trip to Disney World together! I didn’t get to go on splash mountain when I went last January, it was way too cold to get wet. I would love to meet you guys if you guys came to California! In my opinion, I think Indiana Jones is so much better than Dinosaur, I loved dinosaur but Indy is just sooo good! I can’t wait to see when you guys take Baby Brown on his first Disney trip. That will be so sweet to watch!

My husband and I took my mother and grandson to Disney World in July 2011 for 10 days.But anyhow, I told my grandson that I was going to try out for American Idol. He started screaming No grandma please don't sing. Pap please don't let grandma sing. My mother and I still laugh about that. To this very day I still sing to him every chance that I get. He is now 20 years old and laughs about the American Idol try out with us. Just one of the many memories.
You guyssss😩 it’s my dream to one day go on holiday to Disney world Florida and watching your vlogs and videos just makes me want to go so much more! (If that’s even possible). The part where you were talking about Dave saying he loved you🥺 loved this video❤️

Made us reminisce about our honeymoon trip back in 2000 when we stayed at Disney All Star Movies, it was very different back then & even included the park tickets!! We had a fantastic trip with our girls last August & were due to return on 12th April but it’s been cancelled due to the ‘situation’ 😢

Did my first Disney world trip last September with my best friend and used your vlogs in our planning.
I hope you get to go to California, it’s my favourite and most special to me, my fiancé proposed there in front of the castle even though he isn’t a big Disney person.
Plus so many flavours of churros. And the three cheese monte cristo sandwixh is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten!
Obviously way behind on life, but just wanted to say thanks for this vlog. All the fuzzy feels. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Play It was the building that TSMM originally was in. On my DCP, I got to shadow the Stage Manager during a show there and it was WILD. But you are right, American Idol was in the building that Frozen Sing Along is in now.

We did California Disneyland for my 40th last year! Loved Guardians of the Galaxy, space mountain & Indiana Jones all different and amazing, Definitely go, it's so much more quaint, it's beautiful, easier to see everything & of course it's Walt's original park. Would definitely recommend Disneyland with a little one, cars land is out of this world. I love Disneyworld but was so magical to see Walt's park. #livingwaltsdream

Oh Sophie, Dave, i loved this, reminiscing about Disney, it was 2017 the last time we went there, and we dream of returning in 2021,but right now, nobody can go anywhere, so it was lovely being reminded. Well you are looking "blooming marvellous" those pregnancy hormones are suiting you Sophie. Dave as handsome as always, don't feel left out! 🎠 I've never ridden the carousel at Magic Kingdom in any of the trips we've done, its on my to do list for next time. Well I also am afraid of heights, so avoided Tower, but the theming ive seen in vlogs really appeals to me. How bad is it from a heights perspective, i get dizzy and weak knees up Wallace Monument!

I think we were there in May... thank you for mentioning how beautiful Soph looks - I agree wholeheartedly! I would never feel left out haha, I never expect comments like that tbh! 😳😂 I’ve never ridden the carousel either (though I think Soph may have when she worked in MK). I am also someone who’s not a fan of heights, but to be honest, you really don’t see much of how high you are until just before you drop. It’s all very quick up and down so if you don’t mind that feeling of falling (briefly - it’s honestly not too terrifying, from someone who hates ‘thrill me rides) then you should be okay. You really only see outside/how high you are when the doors open right at the top of the tower before it drops. Highly recommend watching some ride throughs (search the WDW one specifically because the others are different I think) and see what you think ❤️
@@SophieandDave ah, no, we were there end of July into August, and it was very warm but i loved the way the sun enveloped you, a big change from the Fife summer, my husband who's from St Andrews, and im from Suffolk, say's Rain is Scottish sunshine.. ☔🌞, does Dave agree? Well, my first visit was 2013,then 2015,and then 2017.we became grandparents to our now 2 year old grand daughter in 2018..so,we look forward to going perhaps in 2021 for Christmas season (November onwards(?))... but, who knows right now? So loving your vlogs, and the magic you share with us. I confess to being nervous of Splash mountain on my first time... 😬. Its that sudden drop... Whoop whoop yikes.. Lol 💜

We are also a disney family. My mum and dad took us every year. Now we take our two children 8 and 6 as much as we can. We just love it there. We took our first child for her first birthday. There never to young to start lol :)

I was so disappointed with the big thunder in WDW, the one in Paris is sooooo much better! (That’s the only thing I prefer with Paris, everything else WDW has smashed it!) x

Highly recommend AKL (haven’t stayed in Beach or Yacht club)... how was French Quarter? I can’t believe we were so close on our first trips!!! Haha!
French quarter was lovely, and they did make the towels into different things like soph said like swans every day! I miss it so much! Hoping to go with my current partner. Dave it’s so weird though you look so much like my ex that I went with to Florida as well and my mum agrees haha! Imagine if we had seen you!
This is so crazy! The first time I went to Disney World with my husband (was boyfriend at the time) was in November 2001 and we stayed at Coronado Springs. When we went to our room, it was already occupied 😂. The people in the room had the top lock on the door when my husband went to open it and a person inside slapped his hand. They ended up giving us a 2 bedroom suite for the trouble 🤣
Oh wow!!! No way! That is a tad more awkward than our story! We were lucky! Haha! I don’t know how I would have reacted to a slap on the hand! Haha! Also, those people are lucky/smart... I never remember to put the top lock on our room door! 😂😂 Good ol’ Coronado for sorting you guys out in the end! ❤️

Oh man! It was the best! To be honest, when we went back, it was a real adjustment for me in particular as I just wanted to forget the rest of the world and be with Soph. I wasn’t used to it. Thank goodness though, because if we did leave all technology behind, we wouldn’t have vlogged our trip! So it all turned out for the best! Haha!
