I wonder if it’s better to run x-scissor or power-up punch as a bait option instead of aerial ace, especially since resisted flying press is more powerful than a neutral aerial ace

Aerial ace is a lame move but I rather to run with it for those Medi and Trevenant matches.
I checked sims on pvpoke, it wins more with pup and flying press in 1&2 shields. Wonder why no one showcased that

Flying press is just like an upgraded version of close combat or superpower. What is insane is that there is no guaranteed debuff after using the skill.

Funny reminder that it can learn Close Combat, Stone edge, Focusblast,Brave Bird,Hyperbeam and Gigaimpact in the Main games
With a skill that so cheap and also being a powerful nuke as well with no drawbacks is just too good, unfortunately it's fast move isn't the best but it's still a great option.
U really gotta love how much damage it does even on resisted attacks as well. Probably might seem like aerial ace can be traded with Power-Up Punch as it just cost a lil cheaper and good for that extra attack boost Incase of shield pressuring.

Hello Henry. When you coach people do you teach them when to throw charged moves so they don't throw on alignment? I've watched some videos about this but it's kinda complicated. I want coaching but need this aspect explained like I'm 5 years old. 🤣
So in one scenario in the video he talks about Registeel throwing on alignment vs Umbreon. In this scenario as the Registeel you HAVE to avoid a catch to have a better shot at winning bc you need two focus blasts to take out Umbreon. As the Registeel if you “throw on alignment” it means that you throw your move when the Umbreon could a) switch b) throw a charge move rather than waiting for the Umbreon to start its snarl which takes 3 turns(hidden mechanic, game doesn’t explain) vs Registeels lock on which only takes 1 turn so you could wait for Umbreon to start its attack then decide to throw your charge move so the Umbreon is still attacking rather than throwing it when they could switch

This team is aba weak to fighting, one of the most common leads.
Fighting is not a common lead whatsoever. The only fighting leads that even show up are Medicham and Machamp. Medicham is more often in the back and Machamp is barely seen because it gets destroyed by actual common leads like Altaria, Pelipper, Noctowl, Trevenant
@@rosscleary9110 Medicham is superrrr common lead. Machamp less but we saw one even in this video. Scrafty is common lead. Who actually leads altaria with all these registeel and bastiodon leads? And trevenant has faded a ton since wing attack, not common at all anymore. Noctowl is never lead, always safeswitch.
@@berosar Scrafty is not a common lead you're literally just making things up now. In my past 100 Great League games I've seen a Scrafty lead once.
And Regi isn't common either as a lead. Your brain is taking the Hoenn cup as the open great league. They're not the same.
