Totally incorrect. Darwin local here who livss and works in town but also works in remote communities. They are all thiefs, if they are not it's because they are diabetic and completely fucked from their choice of living. Every aboriginal child has teeth rotted down to the nerve root. If it's not sugar, it's petrol, if it's not petrol it is alcohol, if there's no alcohol they steal every juice carton from the store and make bootleg alcohol, if its not that then drugs, if theres no drugs it's violence, if they don't do any of the above it is useless layabouts that don't work, live in squalor, leave their rubbish wherever they walk, they will trash everything in site.
The generators get torched and fucked with just to cause a ruckus. The whole lot of them are useless.
We pour millions into each community to help in every way shape and form but they choose to live in squalor and yet we keep funding it.
We build 500k modular homes, nicer than any I've lived in, with commercial grade stainless steel kitchens and walls 12mm thick made of cement fibre sheeting because they just trash them within a week of delivery, they trash their own communities then come to town when they're totally fucked and do the same in town.
The truth is no one wants to do anything about it because the answer is to landlock them in their communities and let them die of their own devices.
Millions poured into every community, let alone the welfare we supply, they have different requisites to any other non indigenous recipient in regards to their welfare, my friends work in the employment assistance/welfare agencies for these pricks and yet they CAN NOT legally cut their money off.
We are forced to pay them, forced to build for them, forced to help when they fuck themselves at every turn, and forced to pick up their medical bills when all of them end up fucked from diabetes and literally their own class of diseases that they made because they can't even take a goddamn shower in the 500k homes that we built the pricks.
Lived in Darwin my whole life, decided to up and move because these useless flogs are allowed to run the joint.
What does the local government do? Manipulate the crime statistics and sweep them all under the rug so they keep their fat asses i a cushy job.
Natasha Fyles raised the criminal youth age to 16, so now all these assholes that were held accountable to some minimum extent, get picked up by police, who can do nothing but drop them off back at their home to their shitty parents that shrug and 5min later the ferals are back out fucking up everything in their path.

My family lived in Alice Springs for 25 years - we left about 8 years ago now. We ran businesses. Employed locals, both indigenous and non. Every night, we had rocks thrown at the windows. We had 2 large doberman guard dogs that were that aggressive, they didn't dare jump the fence. Speaking of the fence, it was razor wire, 8 feet tall. Anything of value is kept behind bars and fences.
We got zero thanks for providing goods, services, clothing, food and toys for the locals. Nothing but theft, graffiti, destruction of property and problems. If it were up to me we would have left after a year, but my dad wanted to stay and try and help.

This is happening a fair bit in Perth now in the outer suburbs like Armadale and Midland. The police can do little about it as nothing happens to them if they are caught. Meekatharra is a town riddled with crime I'm glad I don't have to visit any more. Locals throw rocks at trucks driving through and you ring the cops and they reply in a VERY annoyed tone "what do you want us to do about it?" then hang up. I don't know what the solution is but what the law and courts are doing CLEARLY has no effect on how these people conduct themselves.....
