The official language in Ghana is English. Ghana was under the British.
Ghanaians study English at school. Ghanaians love and are proud of their native languages and so they speak them more. Ghanaians are proud of their culture. The Government of Ghana encourages Ghanaians to wear traditional and cultural attire or dress to work on Fridays. The largest ethnic group in Ghana is the Akan.
Their language is called Twi and it is easy to learn. That is why many Ghanaians understand Twi.
The brown rice and beans is called Waakye. It is even sold in Lagos by some Ghanaians. Many Ghanaians and some Nigerians love Waakye.
We are one people, one Africa, one human family.

Ghana has about 50 indigenous languages (Dakubu, 1996), and the major ones are Akan, Ewe, Ga, Dagaare, and Dagbani, with English as the official language. Out of these languages, only 11 languages are taught in the schools and few of them are used on the radio and television.

This your description about Ghana and Ghanaians is below the belt! Are you ladies saying you don't know Ghana like Nigeria was a British colony so Ghanaians also speak english as their linqua franca? This is so disappointing! Does it mean that Nigerians don't study African history at school? FYI Ghana is made up of different ethnic groups who speaks different dialects just like you have in Nigeria. The small group of people you interacted with on your visit does not describe the entirety of Ghana, Next time when you are going to visit another African country at least google and read a little about the history of that country before you embark on your journey. God bless you both!

We don't know you. Why are Nigerians now pretending to be Ghanaians ? Africa is one Country or Continent whatever you want,so stop that follow follow mentality and be proud of being Nigerians ! Be yourselves and don't listen to what others say !

You better think about how to amend your dignity and stop disturbing our ease with that unnecessary competition. How can a Fulani ruling country beat The whole Iconic Black Star of the world?
