    Great video. I would like to add a couple of points. The USA Trains 29ft, 42ft and 55ft tank cars feature the correct prototypical Type F coupler which is required by standard railroads on tank cars. You will notice the USA Trains knuckle couplers on these tank cars are much different than the die-cast ones on the USAT 55ft hoppers. Also you have to notch out the Kadee coupler box for the wheels if you are going to run on 10ft or 8ft diameter curves.

    @MrJoe53 most common problem is dirty rails (which is normal but WILL hinder performance. maintenance is mostly bearings and wheel flanges.

    I do wish that USAT would install shiny metal wheels ! blackened just do not ever get shiny treads (no matter how much rev' service ;) ) doug c
