OU research has found that people's decisions to vote remain or leave in the EU Referendum are based on a number of factors, not just immigration.
Dr Kesi Mahendran, Lecturer in Social Psychology in the OU’s Citizenship and Governance priority research area, looked at attitudes towards Europe. She found that there is something more fundamental affecting people’s decisions to vote than just pure party politics.
