I’m glad it’s not just me. Ale’s slides are one of the 100 things I love about her. Like atomic bombs. And she frequently gives me chills (today it was on the grungy bass part of HYCAD). No other musician does this to me.
Dany emotes as naturally as she breathes. She is pure passion!
I was able to see The Warning last year when they were on tour with Hailstorm,The Pretty Reckless and Lilith Czar. They are absolutely amazing live. High energy and a huge sound for just a three piece band.

Been a rocker since Iron Butterfly blew me away with In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida back when I was a teenager in the 60's. These girls instantly became my new favourite band when I came across them on CZcams several years ago. I have everything they've done on Apple Music and it's all I play in the car with Apple CarPlay. Every song they've recorded or played live I can't think of a single thing I'd want them to add or take away. They simply craft perfection.
Let me remind people that In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida was originally titled "In the garden of Eden"

In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida stopped me in my tracks back in the day. And some others, but nothing reached me that way until I heard the Warning in 2021. Then I saw them in June 2022. Now, I'm a Guarningista.

Another thing about performing in Mexico City is that the elevation is 7300'.
Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18.
In 2022 the did over 100 gigs in North and South American along with Halestorm and Three Days Grace. They recently did four shows with Muse.
They are all three classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015.
They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey.
They started as a cover band and now have 46 original songs in an EP, three albums, and a single. No bad songs. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances.
At home they are humble down to earth individuals.

You get it so well having done this yourself your whole life.... same here.... and I do think they love being closer together. There is SO much you have to experience about these women..... The drummer is intense.... as a person.... but sweet and caring, and intense. and she is the main creative songwriting brain in the band, although they all write songs and all work on every song together after they start with one person. And they all sing well. And they've been doing this, like at a professional level, since they were little children. So they are young still now but have nearly a decade of experience in the same band together... the only band they've ever been members of, although some of them have done brief collabs. So many videos I want to link you to.... but I think you will get great suggestions from people here.
I do suggest the song Dust to Dust.... personally I like the live version at a venue called Foro Didi. That song will surprise you.... it is the opening track to their second album Queen of the Murder Scene, which is a rock novel.. the entire album tells a story through the lyrics. And it was a darker phase in their music that is just awesome, while they were all teenagers.
These girls are on a world tour soon with some dates in Mexico get in touch with their team maybe get you on one or more of their bills. You will have a blast.
No matter how good they are recorded they are always so much better live!! 🤘🤘🤘⚡⚡⚡😍😍😍

BTW, Ale, the Bass player does a lot of gang vocals and low harmonies. Sometimes she does the high falsetto harmonies too. All three are gifted talents, once in generation band!!!
drummer does high harmonies (with more texture) and bassist does low harmonies. The three voices are very alike so they play a lot with it to make different tones
Y ahora que lo pienso, no se por qué lo puse en inglés si también hablas español. La voz de la bajista es muy parecida a la de la cantante, pero con un registro menos amplio (llegando mejor a los graves que los altos. Sin embargo en algunos temas hace unos falsetes que no podes creer que vengan de ella ej: sinister smiles). La voz de Daniela es de registro grave pero tiene un pitch tan elevado que no pareciera. En canciones como "Hunter" toca unos graves difíciles de imitar, pero es la del registro más amplio (comprobadísimo esa nota que tira en el estribo de Choke). La voz de la baterista tiene más agudos, pero una textura más rasposa lo que la hace parecer más grave. Agregale la genética por ser hermanas y hacen esas cosas entre las tres voces que suenan de locura

The Warning are about to embark on another North American tour with Plush and another band called Holy Wars. Im sure they would have greeted you to a show in their city of Monterrey Mexico. The girls have been on a roll lately with show after show, bookings after bookings though. I wouldve loved to have heard and seen your music with theirs, no doubt about it. I was in the choir of the church n the teacher there told us about smiling with the eyes, its like a technic or something like for singing better or idk at that moment i was like nah, but as i start to get more into music n watching singers i definitely notice that “smiling” with the eyes 😅 in many of them i guess those are the crazy eyes 😅
As Dani, the guitarist and lead singer, says of her sister Pau, the drummer: she has wonderful lung capacity, because she can sing while playing the drums every night (and very energetically, even aggressively, I would add).

Nina welcome to TWA, you just started into this rabbit hole, and your gonna love it. I’m a 62 year old former musician and I haven’t felt this much fire since Van Halen came out, different music, and style but definitely FIRE!!! Believe it or not these girls aren’t a flash in the pan type band, they have paid there dues, they have been playing together since Ale was 9 now 18. Ever since I heard that tone of Dany’s Orange cabs, and Pau’s and Ale’s thunderous boom, and the song writing, the harmonies OMG! I can see in your crazy eyes you get it, enjoy your comments, thus I become a subscriber today, one little hint tho, TWA want to hear their fav band more than once a month…

Dany basically "acts out the song" for every tune they play. She's arguably the most emotionally expressive person of the sisters, and it shows in her performance. Her eyes can be crazy, loving, sad, menacing, or whatever is required, depending on the subject matter of the piece. It does indeed add a great emphasis to the performance.
One of the pedals Pau (drummer) has on the floor is for controlling lights, track, Dany's Pedal Board & everything else happening on stage . I think Ali's board is independant. maybe not. Soooooo..... in addition to singing, & drumming.......she also runs the (used to be garage band) (I think now) Ableton software that manages the show.
Listen to Ali singing "hunter". She generaly sing's lower than the other 2. But Pau has great range.
Please stop with the made up fan fiction about what Pau controls. The pedal you are talking about is pause/play for the laptop she taps it between songs.
She does not control the lights or Dany's pedal board or anything else happening on stage.
The laptop controls the backing tracks and click track, used to control the video screen that they don't use anymore, used to switch the song on the pedal boards so they did not have to manually do it in between songs (also not anymore since 2022 i believe when Dany started using new pedal board)
you don't need to exaggerate what she does on stage, the truth is more then good enough.
Warning this band delivers thought provoking lyrics with an infectious style of rock.

This is a brilliant song, musically, lyrically and performatively (is that a word?). The Warning live is like a storm in the face. The bass and drums are locked, leaving Dany to be the lightning. The energy is built in every song.
They just announced a US tour in May, I'm going to their Baltimore show. Pau the Drummer, sings lead on a number of their songs. She practices singing while running so she has the stamina and strength to do both at the same time.
The Warning is a new horizont for Rock and for us. Great reaction!.

The first thing i heard of TW was Money where Dany hooked me after only a few seconds. And i was like, what is this!? And i immediately did a search and down the rabbit hole i went. These girls are so talented and can´t write a bad song. Every new thing they release is a banger. And despite they are different personalities they have what they do in common. Ale, Pau and Dany are each one a experience but together they are fire! Have you seen their take on Enter Sandman during the same gig as this, if not do it. It will leave you speechless. I really liked your reaction very much. I´ll do my part to give you a new chair 😊

Nina, it seems, other than the amazing Muse and the great Foo Fighters, all the other great rock and metal bands today are all female. Along with The Warning, you need to check out the incredible all-female bands of Japan 🇯🇵.
They say Rock didn’t die, it just moved to Japan! And it’s quite true. Lovebites, Nemophila, Hanabie, Bridear and Gacharic Spin are all remarkable all-female bands. There’s also BabyMetal, which is a whole experience, if you’ve never seen them.
But the band I recommend you check out next and my personal favorite; who happen to be friends of The Warning, is BAND-MAID! 🔥
The Maids are the whole package like the Villarreal sisters and with 5 members have a broader and more full and complex sound which I think you’ll appreciate.
There have great MV’s but they’re absolutely amazing live so I recommend you watch:

Pau has 2 midi pedals one on each side that she uses to control the video feed, backing tracks and Dany's pedalboard as well as playing the drums and singing.
Not sure whey some fans want to give credit to Pau controlling Dany's pedalboard. Dany controls her pedalboard not Pau.
The laptop used to switch the presets on the pedalboard to the next song so that Dany did not have to manually do it in between songs.
since she started using her current board in 2022 I don't think the laptop does it anymore.
The pedals you mentioned are just a pause/play for the laptop that she taps between songs.

Come to San Diego and play The Belly Up and then go to TJ and play there as well.
Pau controls the setup for each song so all Dany has to do is use the board. That was in an interview with the band. Look it up.
That was an old interview form few years ago it's outdated info, new pedalboard new setup... The laptop not Pau used to change the presets to the next song on Dany's old board so she did not have to manually do it. Pau just presses pause/play the laptop between songs

So they started way back when with a cover of "Enter Sandman " that kicked off their rise and grew at warp speeds.
Metallica then invited them to make a new "cover" of it for the Black Anniversary Album and like the Many other artists on that album were encouraged to add their own flavor to it.
So they completely restructured the entire song and made it their own and featured the singer Alessia Carra on it with them on the official recording. It really is worth the listen (both studio and live) and of course they cap it with a nod to the original as well that's a perfect ending really.
I would highly recommend it either for reaction or on your own if you haven't yet!!! 🤘😝🤘
