    Fab, the Clydebank of my childhood. No Fire Station or Funeral Directors at the boulie roundabout, no big mental roundabouts on the A82 or at the Hardgate...Bandstand in the park gone now but not forgotten. Thanks for this, happy memories. :)

    Bobby McRitchie who took the original films sadly passed away peacefully on 7th January 2016. We will all miss you.

    Thank you for sharing this video, I showed it to my mother and it made her so happy to see her entire life flash back through these videos, she was talking for hours about each scene and the memory she had from that place. It was lovely to see her that way so thank you. :)

    My parents were from Clarence street and Kilbowie road. they told me all about the blitz. I live in Canada.

    Born and brought up in Clydebank from 1973 until I left in 2002, I still return as often as I can and visit the old haunts. Once a Bankie always a Bankie

    Still live in Clydebank and how it's changed since I was young.Born in 78 and it's changed alot since I was a kid,but still has alot of the old buildings.Ive lived in most areas in Clydebank,except Linnvale and Parkhall,but all others I have,Mountblow,Dalmuir,Duntocher,Faifley,Drumry,Whitecrook,Radnor park,Old Kilpatrick,and Hardgate.

    That was amazing to see, lived in clydebank all my life (I'm 31), there's still a lot of buildings/structures in the footage that still stand to date. Thanks for sharing this.

    Seeing Clydebank High School turns my blood cold, among the worse years of my life in that shit school.

      If you had failed your 11+ and went to Edinbarnet Secondary in the 60s, things would have been even worse, boys got belted several times a day almost everyday.
