ചെമ്മീനിൽ സിനിമയിൽ ജൂനിയറായ മധുവിനോടോപ്പോം സൂപ്പർ സ്റ്റാർ ആയ മാഷ് താരതമൃന ചെറിയ വേഷത്തിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചു എന്നത് തന്നെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിന്റെ ഒരുദാഹരണ൦ മാത്രമാണ് . ഏതു സൂപ്പർ സ്റ്റാർ ആണ് ഇതുപോലെ ചെയ്യുക
ചെമ്മീനിലെ പളനി ചെറിയ വേഷമാണെന്നു പറയാൻ വയ്യ. സിനിമയിൽ കുറച്ചു ഭാഗം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടേ പളനി പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നുള്ളുവെങ്കിലും പിന്നെ നിറഞ്ഞു നിൽക്കുന്നത് ആ വേഷമാണ്. നാലു കഥാപാത്രങ്ങൾക്കെങ്കിലും ചെമ്മീനിൽ തുല്യ പ്രാധാന്യമുണ്ട്.
ചെമ്മീനിൽ പ്രണയ കഥയ്ക്കല്ല പ്രാധാന്യം എന്ന് തകഴി തന്നെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്. മുക്കുവരുടെ ഒരു സനാതന സദാചാര വിശ്വാസത്തെ ആധുനിക പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിൽ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനാണ് അദ്ദേഹം ചെമ്മീനിൽ പ്രാധാന്യം കൊടുത്തതു്.
