So happy we don’t have Lombardi as OC anymore! I can’t wait to see what Herbert can do with Moore
I’m more interested in what Derrick Ainsley brings to the table than kellen Moore.
As a Lions fan I’m confused how he ever got another OC job the dude was horrendous here and fired after 1.5 years. Same thing goes for Joe Barry in Green Bay who was the DC for our 0-16 all time bad defense.
@@LoganbubI agree. He forced Stafford and Herbert to play like 40 year old Drew Brees 🤦🏾♂️
I got Herbert in fantasy football and he is going to have a huge year
Best part is that he’s Payton’s OC on the Broncos now!
Feels like Colt is gearing up to start coaching soon. That or media. Love that he is on here. Very smart guy.
Nah not media , maybe coaching . He’s so monotone and exudes absolutely 0 emotion
This is a must see for fired up Chargers fans. Excellent work and insight on KMoore. To the moon! 🌙 ⚡️⚡️⚡️
love to hear it, share it with a friend!
"ThE ChARgErs HaVe FaNs?" 🥴 hell yeah we do and we hyped! #BOLTUP Bolt Fam! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Herbert has one of the best deep balls in the league! It’s time to see MORE of it!!!!
My favorite college quarterback ever. Should have a strong career with a team or in commentary when he hangs it up.
Or just hang out with me every week on the channel and watch gamefilm - Josh
@@UnderdogFantasy Very true haha. But it looks like this may become a feeder program for NFL coaching jobs considering McCown got picked up shortly after hopping on with you guys.
Love this! Not much better than getting an active NFL QB's take on plays, designs and arm talent.
No doubt!
This was great. There are so many videos and channels of amateurs who act like they understand football better than they do when try to do these kinds of breakdowns. This is the real deal.
Season-long loss of pro-bowl LT, 11 games lost by WR injuries to Allen and Williams, Little WR depth, Rib injury to Herbert and conservative play-for-four yards Lombardi...destroyed 2022. Ready for a new year with the bright mind of Moore and more WR depth.
On the herd yesterday, herbert said in the interview that his rib injury changed his throwing mechanics and didn't allow him throw his as deep
Even in 2021, he was 20th of 30 QBs in aDOT... there's a lot of room to grow!
I think LAC is a more talented team than DAL and adding that explosive play calling that Kellen brings? LAC is going to be my go to home fantasy stack build and I have them taking the SB
As a cowboys fan I hated losing Kellen he was scapegoat for dak bad play but go no for those great game plans like against Tampa he made it easy for dak Herbert is going to excel
Agreed. Hopefully McCarthy does a good job calling plays. Dak's window for a Super Bowl run won't stay open forever.
I feel like kellen was tired of dak making the same mistake too and they’ve been together since romo days. Daks always played well against average defenses but when it’s a top 4 or 6 team that’s also a Super Bowl favorite , he can’t seem to convert or get down the field or throw the game away. Idk if he just doesn’t have the patience or is trash under pressure and only good for a few big plays. He’s got younger talent like burrow and hurtz come in and make the superbowl well Hurtz team was stacked but still, guys like herbet and burrow have that trigger in them that wins them games. I believe Justin will minimize mistakes and make dak look very mediocre. I love Dallas too but almost 8 years in he seems like a blessing and a curse. Defense is top 3 imo offense is loaded as usual. 7 years with that a consistent system great records in regular season but nothing to show for in the post. I really hope they can make it this year
Dude whaaaatttttt!!.. As a Cowboys fan who watches film you sir are misinformed .. Dak was not the scapegoat! KELLEN MOORE AND MIKE MCCARTHY DIDNT SEE THE GM THE SAME WAY!!! They clashed.. man this story been out in Dallas and social media.. Dallas is Super Bowl ready Kellen is still developing how to win games in the NFL! This is not College 🤷🏾♂️
@@kazzd58 kellen has won more than enough nfl games as OC under dak. Has nothing to do with seeing the Gm this way or that. It’s about playcalling and letting dak be wild with the ball double triple coverage he’s throwing the ball away late in games. First game without him they drop 40 on the giants. Moore doesn’t need anymore time he came with no solutions to the playoff drought only reason Dallas got there was cause they are too talented in the East to not make it out
@@reeyadali8516 it absolutely has to do with seeing the game a certain way… If a coach head coach at that, doesn’t want to run aggressive, option routes but your OC says F That I’m running it anyway, going three and out in 45 seconds after a great defensive stop… Kevin needs more experience. You don’t already messed up two Super Bowl squads… Kellen want the HC job but if you watch film there are nuances to Dak but hey it is what it is… You stay over there on the hate train for Dak.. I willl be over here watching Dak Win🤷🏾♂️ Could care less if he throw Dow 350 4 TDs.. Just win, Troy Aikman style …. Troy could throw for 350 but our team was so good he didn’t hv too🤷🏾♂️.. who cares what mainstream media thinks I got my own set of eyes…
Everyone seems to forget that for at least 9 games Herbert couldn't throw the ball down field because he had broken rib cartilage.
He was 20th of 30 in 2021 as well
everyone forgets guyton went down early as well. the dude was a nice deep threat, i remember herby dropping a 70 yard bomb right in his arms 2021
Herbert is going to put up video game numbers if he stays healthy.
This was a fantastic description of Kellen Moore offense. Loved it. However, you were totally wrong when you said the reason Herbert was throwing short last year was due to problems with the o-line. It was because the Lombardi scheme had every player running short routes. Herbert had a terrible o-line in his rookie year and he had no trouble throwing deep.
I think his rib injury changed his mechanics and he was adjusting to playing at about 65 percent.
Qb1, i cant wait to pick him
Hahahaha. 😂
HOLY MOLE THAT WAS GOOD!
Its wild that everyone forgot herbert played through a broken rib most of the season
This was awesome! Great work Josh and Colt!
Thanks so much! Tell a friend!
I subscribed because of the thoughtfulness in this video👍
Really enjoyed this and the breakdown of the plays. Would love to see a Herbert/Moore Part 2 ⚡
How did you guys pull this off getting Colt McCoy talk X/O's on a fantasy football channel!! So glad I subscribe.😎
Sick analysis, love Colts experience coming out in his explanations
he's going to be great at this!
What a great talk show I hope you can continue doing this for other teams protection is what Herbert needs, Kellen Moore and Herbert and receivers are going to do so good this year look out here comes the Chargers
Scheme is back! Less Goooo!!!!
So excited man!
Lol the KA throw against the Raiders is absurd
so absurd, can't wait for him to be able to unleash that arm more often
Soo good...love the breakdown...
Kellen wasn't the winningest QB in collegiate history because of his athleticism. He made up for it with amazing pocket awareness (thought he was going to be sacked & he'd make a little shimmy and the defensive guy blew right past him), his quick release, his ability to really read a defense and his football IQ. Even one of UGA's DB's (on his way to the pros) said Kellen was the most frustrating QB he ever played against. He'd be staring the DB in the eyes and throw a dart, for a huge gain or TD, to the other side of the field. Kellen now has a cerebral QB, the playbook is going to be wide open & fun!!
4:14 Not sure what Herbert’s Adot was in ‘21, but he did play with broken ribs without missing a game in ‘22. I started noticing him getting the ball out quicker after that. Just adding more possible context for those low Adot numbers. I’d be curious what it looked like in ‘21. Really digging the show so far
in 2021 it was 7.9, which was 20th of 30 QBs who dropped back over 400 times - Josh
His rib problem made him throw more side armed which opposing DL would just bring arms up or to the sides to bat it down. Plus, Lombardi suks with OC play calling; too many curl routes.
@@UnderdogFantasy What was it his rookie year with Steichen? Staley letting him go still burns.
Awesome analysis!
Great video guys
LETS GO!! Sharp shootin Colt baby!! Big shoes to fill but im here for it baby!
Also, we have to step up colts backdrop. Cmon bro!
Awesome show boys!
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@UnderdogFantasy Of course I think I can speak for the whole community when I say were greatful for bestball and all the hard work you guys put in!! You guys revolutionized FF. #TeamUnderdog

we're gonna have a lot of fun
Good stuff guys. Always liked Colt McCoy. This could be good for him!
Awesome analysis 👏🏼
Glad you enjoyed it

Cool video😮
Nick chubb has me really excited I hope im able to get him alot in the leagues im in. Awesome video
Chubb is going nuclear this year! 💥
I freakin LOVE this! I wish we could do this for every team!

Find someone that loves you the way Joe Lombardi loved stick
Cant wait for football!!!
I know everybody wanted to see Herbert throw the ball down field more.. but we have to remember he had fractured rib cartilage which had to be painful the further you throw. They’ve publicly stated that they had to draw up game plans for quick releases to prevent Herbert from taking any more damage. I’m not a Lombardi fan but it wasn’t totally his fault
He was 20th of 30 qualifying QBs in 2021 as well, so there's plenty of room to grow
@@UnderdogFantasybut he had no speed receivers and no time in the pocket. And a terrible OC
Poker and football seemed similar in that if you figured out what a player is likely to do through their tells them you can make an aggressive and relatively safe play.
2 back sets are going to be CRAZY.
🔥🔥🔥
I think Kellen will be more creative and less predictable than Lombardi even if their is offensive line injury.
I love this, but curious how you guys got an active QB to analyze/critique a fellow current player?
He's a big fan of Josh Norris - Josh Norris
Chargers have invested in their offensive line the last 3 years so as long as they stay healthy they can do longer throws. If they have more than one starter go down line last year then it will be tough.
Sup colt:) your my guy since texas, hope you play for the Raiders at some point
Charger’s now have 3 more players in Quentin Johnson, Darius Davis and Elijah Dotson who offer quick twitch movement and Speed who can create YAC after the catch!! Austin Ekler and Gerald Everett were the two main YAC players last year and now the Chargers have 3 other players that are quicker and faster.
Remember that the Cowboys had a good offensive line last year and has invested in their offensive line the last several years.
Now there is a generational offense coordinator coming up big-time some teams going to snatch him up goforit Colt McCoy
Consistency thro aggression is Shane steichens philosophy so let's go colts
He hurt his Ribs on the 2nd game of the season and he played the whole season with banged up ribs .and you noticed he didn't run as much...this year he is going to take off and running more
he was also 20th of 30 in aDOT in 2021, so it goes beyond 2022
Yeah but who we need to unleash is the Horvath. ⚡️⚡️⚡️’s
No. Running. Game. That was the major problem on O and, the D couldn't stop the run game
Colts background looks like you guys are holding him hostage for his analysis
Wowza, great stuff for the public, love it and forwarded to all
The chargers had absolutely no red zone presence last season outside of austin ekeler. We can drive down the field but dont mean much if were always taking 3
⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
LFG
Yasssss
My guess was that it would be JT O'Sullivan
Also, FIRST bitches!
Kellen Moore is thankful Herbert doesn’t throw 3 interceptions every game like Dak Poopscott 😂
0-2
All they need now is Marlon Mack
Everyone’s all giddy about having Moore as the OC ..great ..but ..the DEFENSE coughed up a 30 point lead in a playoff game ..you people are delusional if you think we’re going to just outscore everyone ..that might get you into the playoffs ..but it’ll all fall apart again in the 2nd season without significant defensive improvement ..
its not rocket science the offense is a dink n dunk offense with slow\injured WRs. Herbert still had lots of big plays.
Tune>McCoy
Identity theft is not a joke, "Josh". 😅
Injuries
) ¹p😊 p9
Run up the middle, run to the right, short pass over the middle.
Take it from a cowboys fan, good luck with Moore lol.
Good luck with Dak and Trey 😂😂😂😂😂
Had Herbert two years in a row and I can tell you from experience to stay away from this BUM! He cost me both years!
Dallas gave him up for a reason. He’s not as good as you might expect
That’s why the Cowgirls traded for trey lance because Dak is so good, right?
@@thesportsswappodcast6915 well let’s just hope all those interceptions weren’t something to worry about. Dak is mid.
Colt McCoy will be cut by the cardinals
This didn't age well 😂
Didn’t age well at all. Nothing changed for the Chargers. They bought into a lie
Nothing has been proven yet, so please stop the hype… Haven’t Charger fans suffered enough throughout the years with over hyped teams in the preseason?Stop now
As a cowboy fan good luck with kellen trash.
