That's a great box. That 1929 George V penny is an amazing find. What a piece of history.
Nice hunt, finding an old british coin is crazy. Congratulations on the silver too
Nice video Dave! Keep on diggin!
Great finds.. like the British penny.
amazing dave, so i have to insert that one penny from uk 1860s to 1920s to play the old arcade from UK
Awesome video nice half dollar hunt congratulations on finding 7 40% silver half dollars and 2 proof and a 1929 king gorge v penny thanks for sharing diggin Dave
Awesome Silver count 😊 Nice proofs, enjoyed the video, thanks
British coin! That's awesome. The only British coin I find regularly is the 5 pence CRH dimes.
Nice silver and that British penny that was a epic hunt
I have been through 5 half dollar boxes and have not found any silver, foriegn and only one proof. the only coin searches I have found silver in are nickels. Quality control for the banks I use are getting out of control.
Congrats on the hunt!
Wow. Wow. Wow! 👏
Excellent hunt to watch. You're so lucky to have these half dollars, and that many silver. The foreign is indeed a British penny, what a find! I remember sometimes in 1997 I visited a downtown foreign currency exchange, and I wanted to get rid of my US coins I found now and then here around Montréal. It's always a good profit if we can change these back to Canadian. Most don't accept coins at all, but this one gives half the rate on coins, so I changed a bunch of US 5, 10 and 25 cents to Canadian. I then had the good idea to ask: "Do you have any USA 50 cent pieces? The teller opened her drawer, and let me look to the years, and I picked up 3 Walkers (1934, 1941, 1943), and a bunch of 40% all years from 1965 to 1969. I took them all, and it didn't bother me at all to pay the full Canadian exchange rate... I had many more 40%ers that I needed for my collection, so a few days later during my lunch time, I walked to Eaton's (One of our nationwide department stores that ended up closing in 1999). Anyways, there was a coin shop, and I brougnt the 40% I had in excess, and the buyer staff told me "I can only give face, there's not enough silver..." I said "Really? That's 40%, but a big coin" , and I guess for him, face meant 2 Canadian quarters. I told him, "No thanks, and I'm sure these will inevitably gain in value in the future.". So, I kept them, and today I still have all of them. As I recently (well, already 1.5 year now) resumed CRH, I walked that street again to find that Foreign Exchange company, that was also a reputable coin dealer, but it has been gone for long... Ah! the good old years.
I have a 1956 two shillings old England coin. Kinda cool ngl
