I actually really like how difficult and in depth the recruiting is in '11. It's a nice change of pace. '14 is still the better game, but it's fun to revisit the older ones
It is also the same on ‘12
And '13
I think an option would be cool, Personally it feels excessive

Yea having the more detailed recruiting like this is mine (and many others) #1 goal. It helps get to know the recruits better and get attached to them before they commit. It’s not as big of a deal if you’re just doing 1 or 2 games a night. It’s a tough decision as I know some don’t want that so hopefully they will be a way to make both crowds happy
do an imperialism but instead of an arrow to determine the opponent u just spin the wheel. so one team can end up taking over different parts of the country at the same time

I was a freshman at WKU in 2011. We were in our second season being D1 & I remember going to my first game and asking what were the chances we won that game & being told we would be lucky to win ONE game. We went 6-6 and went on to build a mid major powerhouse a couple seasons. lol.

Bobby Rainey (#3 HB in this game) broke the rushing yards record that season. Jack Doyle (former colt) was his back up tight end in the the first season. Pretty sure QB #6 was Kawaun Jakes

seeing some of these players are giving flashbacks; that tight end who led in year one was actually future colts tight end Jack Doyle dude was a dog.
Bobby Rainey played like 8 seasons in the NFL & his backup, Antonio Andrews played for the Titans
Never forget the trick play 2-point conversion that beat UK the following year
Bordeaux, whenever you do this style of recruiting, ALWAYS try to find the recruits interest in different pitches.

It’s crazy seeing WKU as the “worst team” when they ALWAYS cook in Revamped dynasty’s 😂
the WKU qb in the beginning was a solid option guy, in Kawaun Jakes; he and Bobby Rainey caused issues for teams when they transitioned up.
Can’t forget backup RB Antonio Andrews & backup tight end, Jack Doyle in season 1 who went to the pros.

If you play this again, you gotta change up the snap count cause the other team will figure it out and jump it. Which makes it seem like they're blitzing when really the defender is just beating his block really quick.
If they bring back shitty NCAA 14 recruiting just cause its easier I'm loosing it😭

@thepizzagod420 A toggle option would be great, but if we get one or the other, I really hope they go the more in depth route and maybe have like auto settings similar to NCAA 14 with like point allocation, but instead it would be minutes
And add recruiting difficulty back. It used to be a setting

NCAA 08 has an elite recruiting setup but did take forever. You got phone calls and could just keep talking to them about interests but if you talk too long they get mad and hang up on you. I love the harder recruiting on 11

The rebuilds are great don’t get me wrong. For me though, I love when you build dynasties and have success over multiple years. The common person builds a team to success then usually stop playing after dominating for a couple years or whatever. The die hards create a powerhouse that dominates the SEC and can’t be stopped after that. You are a diehard. Put more of that into your videos. I love seeing you put more and more restrictions to make it difficult. That’s what I love about your videos is the challenge! The community you’ve built is a community of die hard NCAA fans. I would love to see even harder challenges. Not for the jerseys but for the entertainment!! All of us cheese the computer every now and again 😅😉

11’ was made for the depth players. It’s hard and has a good stamina system where your backups have to play. I like it

Would love if in the new game you could do in depth or casual recruiting. Let people decide if they want to spend the time like the old games or if they want to use points like ncaa 14.
I remember loving this game as a kid so much cause you could make your created players sleeves different colors lol
I know this video is old. But i really hope they give us the option to have some detailed elements to recruiting. Most of us arent content creators and spending that time getting guys and then seeing them succeed is what makes the game great. The 14 system you can recruit guys without even knowing their name. And you can win or lose players for no reason theres no skill involved all you can do is put max points and hope for the best. I couldnt tell you how many guys i lost for no reason when i was their #1 school and recruited them hard the whole time. With the details you can convince them to come to your school rather than just hope they pick you. The only good thing about 14 is the scouting finding gems and getting attributes you want.

I love the depth of 11 recruiting. Makes you more invested. I also played college football so I might be an outlier 🤷🏽

I hope recruiting is more like this than 14. The reason it’s tedious to you is because you’re “speedrunning” through seasons so you’re doing it more often than you’re supposed to be.
You are right about the recruiting in the old games as it was very tedious. I prefer the simplicity of the '14 recruiting because I do not have a ton of time to waste on recruiting

I don't think there is actually any conference realignment in this game. I think that was introduced in 12.

I could go for a little more in-depth recruiting. But not to the extent you suggested in this game version. I am also interested to see how they deal with NIL. Hopefully not just a 'recruiting portal' where you go for players at other schools. Not sure how they could/would incorporate actual $$ offers, but I think that could be fun. Make your rebuilds with MAC school harder when you don't have Ohio State money.

Something weird that happened in my dynasty is that around 6 years the highest rated player is a 80 overall.
Another great video! I personally think NCAA Football 14 did recruiting perfectly, simple and fair. I’m a little concerned that they mess up recruiting because I think that’s the most important thing for a dynasty in a college football game. NIL might also add a weird factor. Just throw money at the players so maybe it will make small schools insanely hard to rebuild?
Probably can still build a small school via training upgrades and make them a factory of players.

Look, I love your vids but I don't want EA to use rebuilders input on the recruiting. I want the in depth recruiting as someone who only plays Dynasty. Let's hope it's a mix of 11 + 14, or give options to choose Easy (14) and Hard (11).

WKU was easy to make into a dynasty. Try FAU. I’m in my fourth year and have only been able to sign one 5 star. I did win one NC, but that hasn’t really helped. School attributes are still poor where I had WKU all A+ but academics. Even facilities were A+.

NCAA 11 recruiting I believe would be more enjoyable. Ncaa 14s was way too simple which I think is the issue with many video games today.
2012 and prior recruiting is far better than the 2013 or 14 ncaa football. You can actually get to know your recruits.

I want 14’s recruiting, except I want the customized player visits of 11/12/13. And I want a higher chance of gems or busts. Because there’s way more 2 stars and unranked guys who end up being really good than 14 has.
