God this was my favorite level as a kid. Playing as Boost was the highlight and I hated that he was never an unlockable character

According to Gamespot it says there were secret characters( I don't remember properly but I think I had Sonny unlocked, the purple car from Queens). Only on ps2 I think it said.
Here's a little secret bud. There's a certain cheat code and manouver to unlock them all. Check out the cheat codes

Hearing Lightning Strikes after all these years is such a nostalgia trip.
It’s one of the most badass video game soundtracks I’ve ever heard.
It's actually awesome at how licensed movie videogames even ones for kids have some of the sickest original soundtracks

The PS2 version was what my brother and I had. I went and found the Xbox 360 a few years ago for the solid framerate and higher resolution. It holds up amazing.
