Great video as always, In this video, I noticed that the Total for the top N is the same as the total for the entire table

top N and by different categories. can we do that as well? say two parameters, one is top N , another one is by country, by product, by entity etc.
Thank your video's. Always very clear when explaining. I have one question. I tried using the parameter for the ranking in my dashboard. When I place the rank on 5 for example, I only get 4 results in my table. What can I do to fix this? Or what am I doing wrong.

The total doesn't change with the parameter value. How can I change that?
Hi..The total amt in the table is not reflecting correctly. Eg. For Top 5 countries, the total Sales should be 848,171.48. However, as per the table, it shows 13,54458.59. How to correct this? ,
You need to insert the Top Value Values into the filter and change the criteria to Is Not Blank. That way, the thing will filter through and have a dynamic total
Hi @Solutions Abroad, I like this tutorial. But, If you absorb Total of Top 5 and total of Top 10 are same, they're not changing.
How to get the total as well, as per for TopN?
that's great! thanks for the videos. Please i have a question: when i do that for top and bottom, it seems to rank well, I actually set so that it will just rank those category with have a value , however there are some that are empty, and so the ranking works fine for top but then bottom will only display the range i selected minus 1, meaning that i select Bottom with a range of 3, so Bottom 3 categories, it shows me all categories that rank 1 and 2 but not 3 even is correctly ranked, and is not ranking the categories that have no values. Any suggestions? the top 3 categories display fine but not when i select bottom. the formula is the same except for the ASC and DESC part
After applying If conations the rows are not being filtered. i am able to see all the countries with the blank values & the TOP N values with the sales values
Hi thanks! What if a want to see the top 10 Products but also have a column named region to see from which region they are, but not giving me top 10 for each one?

Tried, and the Card always provides the total regardless of N selected
Hi there, depends on how you want to show your data on your card, because card needs to show summarised values. You can look at using multi row cards which should work

I’d like to ahow the totals of the totals of the top N
E.g the total sales of top 5, if i change value of N to top 3 the card will change to total sales of top 3
