I have been to O’Hare a number of times over the years. Great vlog and wonderful to hear about the happy reuniting of the family members. Sounds like this was a great trip all around.

When I was at O'hare for my last trip, I was in concourse A. That's where the Blackhawks sports bar is. Great food and if you love ice hockey, lots of memorabilia!

Oooh I’ll definitely have to check out the A terminal, I went to the university of Denver so I do really like ice hockey!

Seeing you in O'Hare sure brings back those memories of my UK journey. Though the memories are never ever far away. Let's see, where did I eventually eat before my flight..oh something really exotic..McDonald's LOL I had it on the return trip too :)

Another great video Julia but can you explain the term "dead head" for us, well those of us that do not know what it means (Kathy and I) LOL
Thank you! Dead head means the company needs us in one spot so they fly us as a passenger (in a normal passenger seat) but we are still paid as if we worked that flight. ☺️ sometimes you can be called to actually WORK a deadhead flight though.
I love the idea of snowball flight I know Gary Sinise took bunch of families of fallen soldiers to Orlando. I remember Chicago O'Hare getting lost it soo big haha
I love the idea of the snowball express flights too ☺️🤗 & YES Chicago O’Hare is a very easy airport to get lost in

@@JettingJulia Fort Worth is such a friendly city. I graduated from TCU years ago and loved its location in the city. There is so much to see and experience there. The Water Gardens downtown are great to visit day or night in the summer. There are also some outstanding museums. Take care and Happy Travels!

Do you think the unaccompanied minor was more excited than what Luna was ??? Also when a crew deadheads, do you sometimes assist another crew in flight if you think they could do with help or is against protocol ??
Hahaha I would say it was equal 😂 Luna is always SO excited when I come home. & we can assist but we usually leave it up to the discretion of the crew which usually they don’t need any extra help. Thanks for watching!
@@JettingJulia Why don't you use Luna's full name??? we all know it has TIC on the end. Our dogs names are Bob and (it was Harry) Shytz. Both out of the pound. Their full names are Bob the Dob and Harry Houdini. Reason is when we got them home we left them in the back yard for literally 5 mins and then we heard one howling. Went out and checked and It was Bob that was howling because Harry had escaped through the gate but Bob who was slightly larger couldn't get through the hole. So he was given the description of being a dobber (pronounced same as a dob of butter) I assume you understand the meaning of the word. We in Australia use it in place of the word informer.

Yep.. it was during a very busy time so I was asked to meet a flight with an UM onboard. She was around 7 yrs old and very quiet. When we arrived at the baggage carousels and waiting for her bag to come up she put her hand beneath the protective rubber as the carousel went round ( beneath that rubber are a series of links and couplings which would slice a finger in seconds) I told her not to do that as mummy wouldn’t like it if she lost a finger, she looked at me and you could see the defiance in her eyes as she went to put her hand under the rubber protectors. I quickly grabbed her hand and as I did so she bit me lol

You get to see a lot of airports...would you consider Charlotte(CLT) a good/easy to navigate one?
Personally I really dislike the Charlotte airport! lol it's been under construction for years now it seams and is always really crowded.
I think Charlotte is easy to navigate, not bad at all!

Julia are flight attendants required to put their hair up during cabin service? i see some that have their hair down so not sure if it depends on the airline
It depends on the airline :)

I’m qualified on 12 different aircrafts! All variations of Boeing or airbus
Your schedule is hectic. You need a well earned break and rest for Christmas
It can definitely be hectic sometimes, miraculously I have Christmas off this year! I'm really looking forward to a few days off at home to relax and spend the holiday with Eric & Luna.
