- Easily the largest project I have ever made. After 5 months of work with breaks in between I have finally finished it. This passion project is greatly inspired by long form SFM video creators like @Blackimus. Although my work is not as professionally made in comparison to their videos. I have attempted make similar types of videos in the past, but most of them I've either scrapped or didn't like how it was turning out. I hope this video is the start of something in which I can continue to create videos like this since this channel is my passion. I'd like thank all of you who've stayed with me on this since day one and for all the support you guys have given me. Please give me any feedback on what I could improve on as I'm still a beginner in sfm. The story might not be the best because I'm still new to writing scripts but I hope it wasn't too bad.
(Oh yeah and I still suck at making action sequences.)

I already know this will slowly turn into a depressing storyline
I'm gonna be honest, I wasn't expecting much. The animation is still clearly a little jank in places, but you definitely made up for it with some incredible storytelling.
You did a phenomenal job on this, greatly exceeded my expectations, and I'm now looking forward to watching the rest of this series.
Nice touch seeing Scar-Heavy's hand at the window when Shaun goes up to see Normal-Heavy.

Seeing the trailer for it a few weeks ago also inspired me to revisit my own idea for a tf2 series and continue writing it. Maybe one day I'll finally animate it.

Legit, these animations have come so far
the amount of effort put into this is amazing
it could be way better but its already great
i recommend adding more Emotion to the characters, Like when heavy saw that he was flying you could have added slightly more shock into it by making him move his arms and his feet, maybe swinging his legs to actually see he wasn't seeing it wrong
Or when a characters sees something their usual shock sound starts, make their eyes pop out a bit and let their mouth open up
Movement, faces are just bill boards of EMOTION that constantly make the scene, the acts, the animation way better
if ur not that good at SFM you can practice faces and try to learn the basics of emotion but i already know you already learnt them lol
Still tho i'd LOVE to see this series grow and constantly improve along the years ((or months.. or weeks idk xd))

I'd prob like heavy to be more anxious and more cautious to who he's attacched to, maybe he will care more about his friends
Also Id found it a bit weird, heavy doesn't really show any type of emotion when his friends died
Ye hes shivering a bit and at the end it shows he actually thought it was fucked up
But emotion there is pretty hard to spot, Still tho this was a great episode

Will the story turn into a wholesome survival drama? Where the team are friends trying to survive the cold, animals and marauders?
Where eventually the captured marauder is forced to help the team and eventually become a friend?
Then later they go exploring to find some advantage to start striving instead of surviving and they discover an adventure that awaits that requires them to hone their friendships in order to overcome daunting odds?

AWE HELL YEAH PLANT DROPPING A 40 MINUTE VIDEO WE EATING GOOD TONIGHT
at the beginning i was very confused, but as the video played out it started to make more sense. I like the general premise of the story
-spoliers ahead-
I was already theorising that the cube was some teleporter/timeline hopper thing, and I was right about that part. i really liked when Shaun and Heavy were talking about Heavy's problems too, showing that he does care for him. The Pootis Engage Heavy was a surprising to see but welcoming at the same time, i like that little fight section. The Miner Engie sub-plot is interesting, i do wonder what timeline he hopped into. I'm still confused with the RED Soldier w/ Blue Eyes sub-plot but I'm sure it'll be answered in future episodes. shame that both Shaun and John died to the Crazed Gunman, imo it don't see the point of killing them off but I guess it serves as motivation for Heavy to avenge them. I also theorise that the Mercenary and Crazed Gun Man are the alter versions of Shaun and John but I aint 100% on it.
Nonetheless good first episode. Can't wait for episode 2.
