We've been using our The Panasonic FlashXpress sonce February 2014 (now 10.5 years) and have loved it. However, recently, we are seeing some intermittent cooking issues suggesting one of the heating elements may be failing so we're keeping an eye on it. If I have to procure another, I will save the heating elements and electronics and test both for possible part replacements going forward. Also, and many readers will absolutely dissaprove ... when I got the unit, I did a light rubdown of the interior with some TurtleWax Liquid Ice silicone car wax (+ a 2nd coat). I then did a "burn-off" on high heat to fully cure the interior. It has been much, much, much easier to clean over the years. And for the "what it's worth" department, after I did a thorough cleaning on the bottom of our aluminum clad cookware, I also treated it with the Liquid Ice silicone treatment. That was about five years ago. After a burn-off, the bottoms of my pans have remained clean and shiny. Just thought I'd pass it along. The silicone is high-heat resistant and really helps to keep the surfaces free from things that "stick".
