- In todays video we get the platinum trophy for Assassins Creed Rogue Remastered for the PS4. An absolutely phenominal game with an engaging story and fun combat. I believe this is also the only Assassins creed game where you play as a Templar hunting Assassins.

The assassin hunter outfit is one of the most badass outfits in assassin’s creed, and bro wears it for basically the whole video after he got access to it lmao respect.

I like it but don't use it for the story because I like seeing the facial expressions of Shay instead of having a mask obscuring his face all the time. I do love the cape and I'm going to use it once I finish the campaign.
9 years later assassin's creed rogue is still the most underrated in the franchise

100% needs some sort of sequel. Just another game from the perspective of the Templars would be nice

Rogue was the only game I bothered to 100%, mainly due to the lack of multiplayer trophies but also since it had all the best features of the original games refined while being an interesting, original story. I originally went in after beating the game with the intent to 100% the ship, and I ironically did literally everthing else before doing that.
Rogue is such a good game. I love how it lets you play as a Templar. The sailing adds a lot of great improvements to Black Flag by having ships board you, smarter enemy ai, more sea shanties we all love them and improved harpooning like whales attacking you when hunting for them. The story is also really interesting. Shay is a unique character because he has been a part of the assassins and templars. Also the renovation system being added back is awesome.
I love how Rogue links perfectly into AC3 and Unity. I didn’t fully appreciate it when I was younger.
Rogue and black flag are so underrated it’s criminal. This game got sidelined because of unity and that game was so unfinished and buggy

All the other trophies are fairly easy to get except for one. I’m talking about the one where you have to battle 4 legendary ships
storm fortress is the only tough one, ridiculous fight even with a fully upgraded morrigan

This was my very first plat trophy. I had a lot of fun with this one.
Assassins Creed on the PS3 was my first Platinum back in 2015, on the PS4 it was my 50th Platinum milestone a couple of years ago. I really hated those stalkers though, I always loved Haytham in the series, wish we had had a game surrounding his character. This is one of the more easier AC games to 100%. I am glad that Ubisoft dropped the optional ( but not really optional) constraints from the series.

Underrated AC and better story then 4 IMO but wish was longer story is all. When I was on sickleave last year in the summer for a personal reason at work, I played this game in one sitting in about 40 hours straight almost threw up haven’t done that since a kid don’t recommend lol

I do it the slightly different. First i advance in the story like half way. Then I collect everything on the maps. After that I just go back and replay some of the main missions to sync 100%.

Did you do it on the computer because it was impossible to get a single Mayan puzzle on the very top right corner of the map. I tried to complete the game 4 times on PS3 and completed it except that each time which was the only assassins creed game so far.

Since launch i have yet to platinum it, when remastered i still havent but i only got 3 left. Loot 20 convoys, free 300 pows and 100% mission sync. Last one not a problem but the first 2 i mentioned are time consuming and so i play from time to time. Until i get the first 2 im not going for full sync
I can help you with both of those trophies. The 20 convos can easily be done by heading to fort luis in the North Atlantic and look to your left as soon as you spawn, if you don’t see a convoy immediately fast travel to the same fort and rinse and repeat until you see a convoy.
You can also go around to the numerous taverns for intel on these ship locations.
For the POWs, this can be done anywhere at sea in the North Atlantic but fast travel to any location and wait on the morrigan an do nothing for about 20 minutes, one should hopefully spawn. Just take care when damaging and boarding the ship as to not kill any POWs and it should only take 3 ships for the trophy to pop as each ship carries 100.

The collectibles can make you do that, there’s so many to collect. The last legendary battle was also an absolute b*tch for me as well. Little tip: I found out that sticking in front of it and using the fire trail deals a crap tonne of damage

My only issue with rogue is that it's so short. Main story is like 80% of the game, alot of clean up. But it was so awesome to see the other side of the coin. The American brotherhood was just utter trash dude.

I enjoy the Platinum when I play Assassin, so I got all the series except for Origins, and I am currently working on it, and the next one is Syndicate and Valhalla, but Assassin Unity is a very bad game and I hated it, but I got the Platinum and I do not want to play it again. It is the worst Assassin in history
Hopefully you get origins done soon! It’s a massive game, same with Valhalla and odyssey! Syndicate was enjoyable to platinum apart from a couple of the grindy trophies…a lot of people hate Unity but I actually loved it. To be fair though I love all of them in their own way 😂

I cant be the only one who found this game irritating from a story standpoint, Shay seems like a relatively moralistic guy, and I get the feeling he would appreciate freedom, the Lisbon incident was an accident that no one knew would happen and he's rightfully angry that thousands are dead by his hand at Achilles order, but instead of talking it out and trying to figure out how it happened and stop it from happening again, Achilles kicks him out of the house, I get that he would be upset, this is a good idea for a inciting incident, however they immediately lose me when shay decides to steal the manuscript and not destroy it, he could have been acting to stop what he thought was clearly wrong without turning it into a major fight, instead he steals it and runs, they gave him a chance to stand down after he stole it and he decides to jump, him being saved by the templars is a prime example of the "save the cat" literary device, set up a character as being "Good" by having them do something that appeals to the audiences morals and it creates an image of "good" even if the character actually isn't. Shay is a character whos defined by making ONLY bad decisions due to his moral compass, the templars are about ruling with an iron fist, total control be it through isu mind control or whatever fucked scheme they can cook up. Shay accidentally destroys a city because of something no one knew would happen and turns his back on his friends because his boss was mean, and somehow he decided that the order that has a history of some of the most fucked actions, and the most insidious illuminati style plans was a better choice for his efforts, sure dumbass, I'm sure that wont be a problem going forward

I didnt have money and prioritized unity.
I watched GLPs movie/all cutscenes tho and found it to be one of the best. I tried playing it awhile back, but i think i played too much AC as a kid. I have no aspirations in the series anymore. But the new AC looked cool and like it's returning to its roots. Maybe i will play the game some day soon if the new AC spurs my interest
AC Rogue's narrative as a whole is the shining example of what TV Tropes calls "the idiot plot".
Basically it's the AC equivalent of 2016's Batman V Superman.
If none of the characters in Rogue were fools, the game's plot wouldn't be a thing. The ENTIRE plot solely relies on most of the characters being idiots as well as miscommunication/misunderstandings. It's a terribly written narrative for that reason.
