Low wages for folks across the store, no one wants to work a job that barely pays a quarter of ya rent or mortgage.
And treats you like a slave.
Frrr it’s not worth it at all
I worked there when I was 16 not exactly the best place to work. I miss mr.parriera
that women only worked for 7 years. ive seen people with actual 32 year badges and i asked them why they dont want to leave and their number one response is not "i enjoy it here" its because they dont have anywhere else to go and the labor itself is not hard, the only thing is just long periods of doing work that gets repetitive everyday
Anita L. Is such a wonderful worker at the Oxford Ma store
71 and working hard✊💕🙏🏆
My mom too! 73. & still on her feet! 😁💞
They couldn't treat people very well in the beginning of the pandemic. Just before Baker's mask mandate was put in place they wouldn't let their employees wear masks when other stores were already allowing it. Parents of teenage employees were not happy about it.
They never did.
Mmmh no thanks hunny
At 15 hour how are you doing rent
Lmfaoo I’ll fill ya in on some things. I work at the Waltham Mb. Our pay is still $13.50 and Sunday’s is $16.25…
@@behzey5161 are sunday at Warwick ri is 20 an hour
@@behzey5161that sucks
The pay is low $13 . Amazon got better pay $18+
They hire at 14 bc no where else does and 14 year olds will do anything for money they fired a supervisor at my store and made a 15 year old a supervisor
Let you're able to pee in market basket
@@lexistacy9980that sounds like sum bs cause how does a 15 yr old become a supervisor
How many hours a week 16 ?
If they started making $16/hour I would be able to apply. I worked for Market Basket intermittently for over 14 years. Still cannot afford to live under the amount of pay they JUST raised it to. Business need to increase wages due to the increased cost of gas, food, housing and other living expenses from this year alone; if they are in desperate need of help.
Why the arbitrary number? Inflation already outpaced wage growth by at least 6.2% so if $16 cut it before it wouldn't now and your prices would increase further.
Iam in charge of everybody CEO
You think I Rob CEO
Big companies... blame on the pandemic but the real reason is management treating employees with no respect so the best options is leave to other jobs... Ceo should have meetings with employee and listen to them; about their manager they will be shock the things they'll hear🧐🙄 about the way they are treat it... I think Market Basket is a good company 👍🙂 👌
They totally should but they won't and they wonder why they'll always be stuck with incompetent 14 year Olds and elderly people.
Market Basket is the best by far.
This seems like a propaganda piece. Market Basket had a worker die of covid because they didn’t implement any safety protocols when all the other area supermarkets required masks, installed plastic barriers, offered curbside pickup and delivery and hazard pay. They had nothing. They were late to the game because they didn’t care. Even when masks were required i heard from elderly neighbors that they were never enforced in our local store. Truly endangering the public while breaking the law. I vowed never to shop there again due to how they treated their customers and employees alike during this pandemic. I realize they don’t need my business. So it works out for both of us. Haha
More for your dollar !!!
Are you referring to the worker who died at the Highland ave , Salem , Ma , store ? Market Basket was her part time job , and worked more hours at Walmart.
Nonsense
Covid literally just started when she died idiot.
I'm not buying anything else in market basket,2, Spencer..
