Ado gave me back the intense feeling of hearing Unravel for the first time, which genuinely isn't something I would've thought possible. The balance of raw emotion and vocal control is perfect to me. Just wowww 😭❤🔥❤🔥
Ado never disappoints! I heard this a week ago and I expected it to be good but she blew my expectations away and made this song her own. One if the best versions of Unravel (and my personal favorite).
The breathy way her voice is before screaming or changing volume drastically is done perfectly! She knows how to use that quick air intake to her advantage, it doesn't sound like she's losing steam, it brings the panicky undertones from the song out. Everything about this is glorious, and the vocal frying is some of the best I've heard in a long time!
She reduces reactors, vocal coaches, and anyone who will listen to tears. Including me.

Just an incredible performance, her voice is somehow incredible and refined, yet raw and powerfully emotional. I don't even understand it, but it just blows me away. The only thing I can compare it to is Tatiana Shmalyuk of Jinjer performing Wallflower.

Yeah I find it hard to breathe after listening to ado, it just grips your whole being. The word evocative was made for this kind of performance, like the experience is creating the emotions regardless of if you understand the words or not it just kinda resonates throughout your whole body and makes you sync up ya know
This is going to be super obscure, but if you’ve ever seen Soul Eater, the whole soul resonance thing using music always made me think of how certain artists could do that, and Ado is one of those.
