I love that he said “never eat soggy waffles”! 🤣🤣 I learned that as a kid and at 31 I STILL say it too!
I grew up saying “never eat shredded wheat”
Lol us aussies say never eat soggy wheetbix (which is actually the best way to eat them...) 🤷♀️
In New Zealand where I live we say never eat soggy weetbix and I still say it at 44.

Just found your channel. We love Alaska. We are from Pennsylvania, but traveled to Alaska on our honeymoon in 2008. We were on a cruise and stopped in Sitka, Ketchikan and 2 other little cities. We loved it, so beautiful.

U2 are great I just joined your channel I love watching it and especially thank you very much for being teachers there's not enough teachers in the world good luck in Alaska we have taken many many cruises out of San Diego actually 15 of them have been to Alaska we have been to every port a crew ship goes into and we absolutely love Alaska but I have to say I don't think I love to live there it would be too complicated for me we are to swell you are very courageous to live up there and do what you do ...and I am very glad that you do what you do ...so we can see thank you again

My kids are also native American but also Irish/English/Italian Spanish. They all look different, one Irish, one Italian and the youngest a real mix,, very fair but her features are from her Spanish grandmother. No one believes they are native but their great grandfather was a full blooded native American. Genetics is a wonderful thing!

There are a lot of expensive places in the lower 48 states.
California is very expensive as well as New York and Colorado.
I lived in Anchorage Alaska when I was 3 1/2 and moved back when I was 5 1/2 to Nevada. My dad wanted to see some of Alaska when he was younger. It’s a beautiful state. If I was younger I might I live there.

This is nice to see how other Alaskans live. I watch the Summers in Alaska. Bert the husband/father takes us to other villages because of his work. They actually live in the North Pole, but he's taken is to Tok , Denali and other places. He talks about villages have PA's as opposed to a doctor. He always do a grocery haul then donate the groceries to local people who know someone in need. ( they don't expose the recipients thank God) Check them out if you can.
