  • It was a pleasure hosting Chief Obi Iyiegbu (Okpataozuora), popularly known as Obi Cubana at the Awka Millennium City on Thursday, 6th January 2022. We had a great time at the breakfast meeting with Obi Cubana who also toured the AMC. He expressed his satisfaction with the work in progress while identifying his plot and calling on you to invest in AMC.
    He praised Dr. Clem Nwogbo, Chairman, M-P Infrastructure for his vision in bringing such investment home and pioneering the first Smart City in SouthEast Nigeria.
    They say money doesn't grow on trees, but it can grow when you invest wisely! Be like Obi Cubana who has invested in AMC. Put your monies where you will get value and a High Return on Investment. Unlike others, Land will only appreciate!

    Anambra state government should not repeat unplanned closters of houses they built in Onitsha in the name of city. They should pay money to the company that drew the plan to carryout the project and then sell houses to individuals, if they are serious in building modern smart city in Awka.

      Hahahahaa talk is cheap. Does Anambra have such money? To build this smart city may coast over 3 billion dollars and Anambra IGR plus Federal allocation cannot do it as there are other works need to be done plus paying salary. While Anambra government is not rich, The good news is that Anambra indigenous people are the richest in Nigeria therefore many people like are welcome to bring their money and build according to plans. I do not advise we go for China loan, it is better our people own Anambra properties than selling us to China loans. Anambra Airport isn't the best design but it has best facilities and it is fully owned by Anambra without China loan.

    With all the millions he is throwing away in parties and Lagos and Abuja, he can build a 26 floor building in Awka, Onitsha and Owerri to attract investors to the East. What is wrong with the Igbos? Rich Igbo billionaires and millionaires, can end the marginalization of the Igbos by investing in Igboland, like Innoson Motors - which will attract the banks and other investors to come to the East

      We are coming home. What we want is restructured Nigeria so there will be regional government where we can solve our problems on our region. Currently the unitary system is making it hard for many things because if you generate certain megawatts of electricity you must share with all Nigeria and such a thing is reason there is no 100% electricity in any system in Nigeria. We Igbos has the money but we need to have autonomous region where we make our laws, plan our future and manage our future without Northerners holding us back.
      That's why I support IPOB because only them can push Nigeria to restructure into federalism. Majority of politicians are selfish and care nothing but their personal pockets.

    • @RealityStand
      @RealityStand Před 2 lety

      Being rich and honest doesn't mean having leadership qualities, not that he isn't good but I don't advice him going into politics as he is better off as a businessman than politician. Soludo is economist and he is best for the governorship position, if Nigeria wants to get it right, let Peter Obi become the president and you will things working in Nigeria.

    I thought the millenium city will be developed by a contracted company then sell to individuals. Why calling individuals to come and build since it has master plan like Abuja. If anambra government doesn't have all it takes to build smart modern city ,they should keep silent than calling individuals to come and build the same in planed city they have in onitsha

    • @RealityStand
      @RealityStand Před 2 lety +2

      You are just bringing money to support while they have professional designs and engineers that will do the work according to plan. They head and monitor everything and will approve what you will build. It is like asking some rich Igbos to invest because it is not government projects but government approved project. Anambra government didn't have too much money and we don't like going for China loans but Anambra indigenous people has too much money, that's the Akuluo Uno initiative. It will not be like Onitsha where you build anything you like, in this place there will be central water, sewage, drainage, electricity, security systems, you not dig boreholes and soakaway in your compound because it everything are central like in abroad where we live.
      I'm suggesting we also need to give serious attention to industrial revolution to employ our youth and bring crime rate down by 80% thereby ensuring we have security of life and properties in our Igboland.

    Hopefully this won’t be another 419 project like Obiano did in Obinwanne Housing Estate Awka…The fraud asked Anambra people to come buy land and later abandoned the project..It is alleged he used the money for his re-election campaign…Now he is starting a new one…Hopefully he isn’t about to defraud people again

    • @RealityStand
      @RealityStand Před 2 lety

      Really? I never heard of Obinwanne Housing Estate. But that's not smart city. Maybe Soludo will continue the Obinwanne. Did you buy land there? What year?

    Igbo mechinata nu onu unu, unu ekwulu ghalu, hapu nu oke ekwurekwu, ka ife unu melu kwuelu unu onu unu!
    Igbos when will you people learn to mentain very small mouth and act to let your actions speak for you, States and people of North and Western Nigeria will only speak at the commissioning of World standard projects which nobody knows when they started, we Igbos are only capable of commissioning projects yet to be started, Ka anyi kwue nu oburu ogwu ya erene!

      A lot of shallow ITK people.

    • @RealityStand
      @RealityStand Před 2 lety +1

      Because the North and West used China loan to build since their citizens doesn't have money to invest but Igbos doesn't go for China loans so we want our rich Igbo people to bring their money and invest so we own our things. Have you got the answer now?

  • @ikecosmas8398
    @ikecosmas8398 Před 2 lety

    Good development but how is this a city for God sake. This is just an estate. Obiano seem to have vision but his execution is to mediocre and small minded . How can this be a brand new city project in a state like Anambra ?

    • @RealityStand
      @RealityStand Před 2 lety

      What your point? You heard it is smart city and has like OVER 700 plots of land. It is still in early stage so we can't tell.
