Innocent people don’t leave someone they claim to love 2000+ miles behind, and they don’t barricade themselves in a house refusing to cooperate with authorities. This so called BF is a real piece of work.

@Jack Stucki I agree that normally, it's wise to never talk to the police, just follow the attorney's advice to be silent. But in this sort of situation, where her life may depend on his giving information that could save her, the right thing to do is more important than worrying about one's own hide. Maybe she fell while on the rocks and cliffs and died out there, and he was innocent and afraid he'd be accused. But after all this time, he's still not talking? Mighty strange.

The brutal probability is that Gabby's story will have a very sad ending, and probably soon. The actions by the BF tell the story with much clarity. The best we can hope for is closure soon for the family, and swift justice for the BF. I would love to be wrong about this, but based on multiple similar scenarios of the past, the conclusion is all but certain. Sincere condolences to family and friends of Gabby. Hopefully, the BF will be behind bars within a week.

Lots of questions: Why did the parents wait so long to file a “missing persons” report? Why didn’t they file charges against Laundrie for stolen van? When was last posting by Gabby where she was actually physically identifiable? Was it the Police cam of mid-August? Who paid for “hotel” lodgings on separation night? Anyone could be driving the van around the country. Laundrie did. Obvious theft.
Why did he take her transportation and lodging away from her? Where was she after those critical elements were taken away from her? Were parents paying for the “adventure”? Means of support- financial source? What was Laundrie reading in that van?
Gabby was extremely distraught on the Police cam. Gabby might have been covering for him at Police stop because she didn’t want to be deserted in an isolated area or more probable she was afraid of what he or someone else might do to her. She was way too distraught for just an angry “fight”. She might have been struggling for her life.
