Telefang (テレファング), the name of the battles the Denjuu participate in, is a romanized Katakana contraction of "telephone" and "fang" with reference to the [D-Shot] telephone and the monsters that use them.

Not gonna lie, that Moemon game actually looks pretty cool and very well made. The sprites are very high quality.
If I'm not mistaken, it's just a sprite replacement mod. So the game itself is the default game, so still the well polished game. But the sprites are also very well made, even if it's strange.
