During that time when I was in Manila, my friend told me to go with him at EDSA, I refused, instead I went home to Bulacan at my Aunt's place and watching TV, monitoring the situation. While watching Gen. Favian Ver, asking Pres. Marcos saying these words, if I remember correctly, " Sir, the men are ready, we are waiting for your order" Marcos replied, " No, no bloodshed" suddenly, the tv broadcast was cut off, the government tv station was taken over by Cory's supporters and controlled by them, so that Marcos cannot continue broadcasting on air.

We enjoyed good hospital service ,free of charge. Lrt was safe en cheap.Disaster en relief operations are at hand en on time . equipped with people's needs.etc etc.So numerous to enumerate. Meanwhile outside Manila 1986, people were living peacefully. I asked my parents how was it during Martial Law, my mom said there was a strict curfew and no one was out on the street when the night falls but life was just normal, most notably the prices of commodities then were way cheaper than today. I don't know about other Filipinos but our history books need revision. The people who attended EDSA revolution represented merely an estimate of (more or less) 2% of the entire population (in 1986). For me, what happened was a power grab. Aquino lost the election but they (the oligarchs behind her) wanted the power so bad. As a result, post-EDSA Philippines was worse than Martial law era. The utility companies that once owned by the government during Marcos were sold to oligarchs, important projects such as nuclear power plants that can help lessen the energy cost, and infrastructures were halted, left to waste for decades. These imprudent actions put the entire Filipinos at the mercy of the elite few who now have control over the country's economy.
What was the point of all ruckus in the 1986 revolution? Clearly, Cory Aquino did not know how to run a country, she didn't have any political background other than being a housewife of a late senator. Giving her the title "the mother of democracy" is ridiculous and insulting to people who never felt the oppression of Marcos era. Democracy was never lost! The post-EDSA seems like a dream that centers upon revering a woman who instilled herself (illegally) as President, a woman who "brought" democracy but in reality, the woman who brought our ultimate downfall.
EDSA revolution, like the senseless wars in history, shouldn't have happened.

*What would you like to say to them?*
    "They're crazy. They're crazy."
-an excerpt from an interview with Priscilla Mijares found at the end of the book "The Conjugal Dictatorship" written by her husband, Primitivo Mojares. He was initially part of Marcos's regime, as the head of propaganda, but he defected in 1975. During his time as head of propaganda, he had collected books, files, documents, dated checks. A year after he published the book in 1976 (despite Marcos's best efforts to stop the publishing), he vanished. He was never found, and has been declared legally dead. His son was kidnapped by the Marcos government and found mutilated at the top of a mountain.

Cory gave Oligarchy the right to do whatever the fuck they want. Ex: Meralco. Electric Bills are always high. 1987 Constitution. Sabah, North Borneo is no longer being claimed by Philippines as one of its Territories. As of today, Cory's son Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III will pass Bangsamoro Basic Law (Bangsa= Country and Moro = Muslim, hence Muslim Country) as a Pact of Peace to Moro Islamic Liberation Front. Who also hide Terrorist like Bomb Expert Zulkifli "Marwan" Abdhir and Abdul Basit Usman that also lead to the deaths of 44 Brave Special Action Forces (SAF) of Philippine National Police. I won't be surprised if Mindanao itself become part of Malaysia since MILF is supported by Malaysia.

Marcos was a good president and had the best interest for Philippines. His bestfriend Ninoy Aquino thought that when Marcos dies he will put Imelda Marcos (wife) to run the show and political leaders wouldn't like that because she is a woman but Marcos wants Ninoy to be his successor. In that case, Conjuangco clan has to let Ninoy go because Ninoy would just continue what Marcos started. To protect the hacienda luisita from being distributed to the real owners which are the farmers. Conjuangco clan and Corazon (wife of Ninoy) planned to kill him and blamed it to Marcos. Every bad incidents happened during that time they always placed Marcos' name on it. All propagandas. These two bestfriends (Marcos and Ninoy) were just victims of Cojuangco clan.
