Don’t understand why that altima is there..cut the airbag stuff it back in the wheel get a headlight bulb, some tupperware for a lens, hell ya dont even need new tires and its the typical altima on the road

Its probably got a bad cvt transmission
My 2010 Altima just hit 255,000 miles. No problems with the CVT transmission. No big Altima energy for me. 😆

I have a Honda Fit, have CVT problems, it makes a loud whining noise.....only 77,000 miles....😢
@@Sha-Ayosome conventional 4-5 speed auto Honda transmissions whine when they get up there in mileage but it doesn't affect drivability
I have a 2007 Altima cvt with 202,000 on it. Still going strong. Not what I was looking for but I needed a beater and got thos for $800. 5 years ago. So I can't complain.
Maybe someone actually replaced the transmission fluid on a regular basis.

I used to be part of the St. Louis Jaycees. (Junior Chamber of Commerce) Since St Louis is the founding chapter, the International Convention, every 25 years, was held in St Louis. I volunteered to be someone who picks people up from the airport since I had my step-dad's LHS. I, and two others , picked up people from Japan. They were so impressed with the car. They actually said, "Oh, big American car," and amazed at the size of trunk and back seats. The timing belt broke at 40,000 miles but still was a good-looking car. Different version than this one.
The Chrysler LHS ( lost hopeless soul) in the for some reason popular 90s champagne bling Color.
Not far off from the truth the Chrysler LH platform which that car was based on stood for " last hope" Cause if these cars weren't right Chrysler was going under , So this was the "Last Hope Sedan"
Sometimes I see a few of those cars and I think people just junk them because it's easier than selling them☹️

I have a 2001 Chrysler Concorde, very similar to the LHS.

That van was cool and the Mercedes looked very clean.
The " looks pretty decent " gets me every time . I call this kind of car a " demon car ", they look really nice , but when you start to fix or maintain the thing the nightmare begins . A classic example of this is the 2000 merc e class

The "last hope" was the platform for a lot of mid late 90s Chrysler lol. I had a 95 LHS and 96 LHS (we called it the Let's Hit Shit) was the most comfortable car I've ever sat in tho lol

we had a 2000 lhs up until 2017. a/c never worked, and eventually the engine locked up at 205k. was never a fan of it, looked ugly and the interior was cheap and falling apart

Concorde or LHS? Basically the same thing.
Concorde originally looked quite a bit different on the exterior. The concorde didn't get the LHS look until the later LH model years.
Plus concorde also originated with less options than LHS, and was cheaper.

The Ford Freestyle if taken care of properly is a terrific vehicle. People don’t change the transmission fluids or the 2 filters. The engine is a DuraTec, despite having only 203 HP, it’s a very good engine.

While these cars fell apart when a few years old the exterior styling was cool and ahead of it's time with the cab forward styling. These will be cool to take to cars n coffee in another 10 years
