      if you flush your toliet with the seat up and not closed you are basically getting bacteria in the air. All that bubbling, swirling and splashing can aerosolize fecal waste, sending tiny particles airborne.

    I have become OBSESSED with the Phonesoap brand. I've bought 3 so far--one for me, one for my mother and one I will set up as a permanent phone sanitizing station at my work. I can't wait to buy the HomeSoap larger one later this year too. Who would have thought that we'd have miniature fully-functional and effective autoclaves in our HOMES at this point in our lives?!

      @@luigiwastaken And covid virus is not on your own phone. Otherwise you would already be showing symptoms. U dumb fuck. This is a scam. You can't get rid of the virus from your phone. You can reduce it but not get rid of it 100%.
      When you are exposed to it, your immune system develops antibodies that fight against similar strains. When you are exposed too much, you get sick. When you are exposed , too little you develop immunity towards it.
      This is the theory of survival.
      Covid19 however multiplies faster and immune system responds to it by a huge margin and thus you Fucking die.
      However it is not on your phone, otherwise you'd be dead already.
      And to the op. You can wash as much as you want, but it is not the things that you need to stay away from, it is the people. Human beings contain live virus. So Yea rather than buying Shyt, stay home .....

    • @thesterndragoon9159
      @thesterndragoon9159 Před 4 lety +1

      We already know that rubbing alcohol lyses/destroys microbes. The difference is it's a consumed resource and it's harsh on plastic and not exactly the best thing for the kind of glass they use in phones either.

      @@thesterndragoon9159 - that's why Apple announced that it’s OK to use Clorox disinfecting wipes and 70% isopropyl alcohol on Apple devices like a month ago? Also UV-C penetrates superficially, and the light can’t get into nooks and crannies. That includes things like buttons or phone cases, which are lined with crevices. If your phone's glass is cracked at all, for example, any germs inside of the cracks are protected from the UV-C light. If a germ is encased within a food particle the UV light won’t be able to get at it either.

    There are much better alternatives out there. For $100+ this may be effective but is a complete piece of garbage. I purchased one and judging by the cheap construction, I don't think it should sell for more than $25.00. I would look for other products that do the same thing.

      @@Chelzor It's actually the design(though I consider flawed since it has wires on the hinges), type of light, and light locations. Lots of the cheaper one "reduces" by some amount from what I've seen around 50% but the phone soap roughly around 90~100% depending on how much bacteria was on it.
      With all that said, I do think PhoneSoap is pushing the premium price pretty aggressively. They can only get away with it is because they have the best UV sanitizer of them all. If there was another product that was very comparable, their prices would drop. Sadly in the current market, nobody else get's as close in effectiveness yet.
