  • Image noticeably less yellowish on the multi-coated with the 67XXXXX serial number than the one with the 39XXXXX serial number.

    It seems to me that multi coated gives a little bit more contrast and clear picture 😔

    Здравствуйте, я так понял экземпляр с мульти уводит в тëплый тон. Вопрос, есть ли плюсы у экземпляра без мульти просветления, и как они по резкости дктализации?

      For the Carl Zeiss Jena Jenoptem 8x30:
      single coated : image yellow +++
      multi-coated : image yellow +, or green.
      For my eyes :
      One of the advantages of the single coated (but on the market, even with multi-coated you can find binoculars with a yellow image), so with the yellow image : during autumn with "yellow" landscapes : image is beautiful. I think it will be also nice during a Safari with all the "yellow" things.
      Also, when ambiant light is too much high, maybe more contrast with a yellow image.
      Moreover In low light condition : dark green can become yellow-green = maybe, feeling that the image is brighter than expected
