@@steph9123 She doesn't look good for 84, that's the point; when people mess with their natural aging with all that surgery they look like artificial clowns. And women don't seem to realize this. But men notice it. You'll see the women in Hollywood that get the plastic surgery are usually the "once before" most attractive ones, and are therefore the most insecure about their appearance and fear of aging. Betty White just before death was magnitudes more beautiful than Jane Fonda is now. Nothing looks more beautiful than natural aging.

I watched many of her father’s movies and loved her in a few movies in her late years and always thought she looked gorgeous in the 80s in those exercise videos but was stunned at her beauty and talent when I saw this movie in her youth. Laurence Harvey is a gorgeous man too . Sadly he died at 45 of stomach cancer.

This is a wonderful movie. Everyone in it is great. Unfortunately, while it us set in the 1930s, it oozes 1960s.

I just watched this last night on TCM channel. It wasn't a bad film.
I was born one year after this film was released. So I first saw it when I was about 21. Was Jane Fonda a complete and total babe or what. If people who hate Jane for her politics could just try to appreciate her for the brilliant actress she is Very hard to do for some people I know. The heartbreakingly beautiful French actress Capucine and Laurence Harvey hated each other. I don’t know who fired the first shot in their war of words but Harvey said Capucine was a ghastly actress. And Capucine said Harvey wasn’t man enough to kiss her or for their love scenes. Ouch Babe!!!!! Capucine had a real flair for comedy she played Mrs Clouseau in the original Pink Panther opposite Peter Sellers1964 and one year later costarred opposite the two Peters OToole and Sellers in What’s New Pussycat??Sadly Capucine would take her own life about thirty years after this film was made. I know her dear friend Audrey Hepburn tried to help Capucine as much as she could But Audrey was fighting cancer so I’m not sure what finally sent Capucine over the edge. No pun intended as she jumped out of her apartment window. Terribly sad.
