  • Trixie is either a soft toy or a pin cushion its up to you! Such a lovely easy make, and a bit of fun! Download the pdf pattern, for £3.50, delivered by email, from my website www.lizzycurtis.com it has full written and pictorial instructions.
A fat quarter is all you need
    Scraps for ears and base
    black embroidery thread
    toy stuffing
The pdf pattern to follow is a great addition to this video, it is easy to print out, and easy to follow.
If you are new to stitching this is perfect. You'll learn techniques that you can take forward to other projects you might do. Enjoy making Trixie, if you have any questions please ask!

That's lovely. I'm in the very middle of making a sweet little fat 1/4s Teddy Bear. Slowly but surely I'm doin OK but the 'muzzle with embroidery nose and mouth have taken AGES and proving not exactly as depicted. I've got him the way I want him and just one eye to finish and then I can sew ears, arm etc. I wanted to make a whole lot of them for a friend's craft fair but I think I'll have to find a different pattern as this face takes too long. Poor Teddy, I'll have to make him a wife or at least a good friend for company:) and find them a good home. (Maybe ill keep them). Tricia was gorgeous, Thankyou so much. Where can I find that pattern? Maybe I cd try makin micies?
