- I ate this HUGE VEGAN breakfast in Istanbul, Turkey! Today on Rated V I will show you where you can eat traditional Turkish breakfast and more but VEGAN in Turkey! Note that even though some people call those filled grape leaves dolma. They're not dolma, it is sarma, becausa sarma means that you put something and WRAP it, so sarmak is to wrap. Sarma is a wrapped something.
Dolma is somehting filled. But grape leaves you can't fill, you wrap the grape leave. But with a bell pepper, you fill it up (doldurmak= to fill), so the bell pepper thing is dolma.

It was DELICIOUS I want to go back for it. Yes I believe he only sold it on weekends I can't remember but message him on Instagram and tell him you saw the Rated V video. I believe it came out to $28 USD but 3 people could eat off that

They did used to have a Lovely Hut in Istanbul, like in 2012 but it may have closed by the time Community Kitchen opened.

Are takeaway and grocery shops in Turkey cheaper than in the US? Im from the UK and, considering everything here is overpriced, if somewhere is cheaper than the US then I think its a hit 😂
haha! I didn't go into a grocery store but the prices were not expensive and also the pound to the Turkish Lira is so much higher in value so your currency will go much further! But for sure I know the prices are less than US

@@delikedi524 Did human civilizations evolve out of Turkie? I imagine that wherever they grew grains, they made similar dishes. We wouldn't say Turkie was part of the Fertile Crescent, so it probably didn't come first. Gozleme is pretty much identical to chapati. Pide is more like nan, no?

After watching your CZcams I decided to go there to have the same breakfast. And was not happy. You should have said that they do not serve that breakfast. This is bad. Thanks to the owner he could only make one out of all you list for me because I came to far. He did not do well for people that watch your channel.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience. When I went they served on weekends, I wasnt' under the impression they didn't serve it anymore. Also this video is 2 years old so the restaurants have the right to make changes to their menues. I'm sorry you didn't get to enjoy the same breakfast but I'm hoping you do one day as it was delicious.
