Brit gave me 2 free passes to 2 night`s sold out shows at The Shed and then the next day 100 of us rode Harleys(some rode other brands) through 150 miles of scenic back roads of Tennessee & North Carolina to benefit The Lana Turner Foundation which helps kids with cancer and their families. We raised $80,000 dollars that day. I`ve felt gutted to see what Brit`s gone through health wise since. He`s a great man as well as a great musician ! They & Gov`t Mule are my two favorite bands to see Live, and each has been suffering the past year due to health issues. Wishing both bands and especially Brit and Warren a much better 2023 !!!

Just watched a 2022 clip of the Stones doing Honky Tonk Woman. IMHO: nothing better than Mic doing this song. That being said: Charlie and BBS are doing an incredible homage to the Stones. Charlie, Brit and Paul have said in interviews I've seen that they would choose the Stones over the Beatles. Charlie will, I'm guessing, never wear outlandish colorful jackets, prance up and down the stage and be an imitator of Mic Jagger. BBS pay a tribute to one of their musical idols and do it exceptionally well. It ain't the Stones and they don't intend it to be that. There will never be a "tribute band" to the Stones that could do them justice; there will be musicians that recognize the influence and genius of the Stones. Yet another tremendous BBS cover you know Charlie and the boys love the Rolling Stones but what got me is Charlie playing the Keith style Tele with a humbucker in the neck position to get that particular vibe n tone for HTW, that has 2B one of the best versions I’ve heard PERIOD!
I love watching all the different guitars being brought out all the time at there shows. Im lookin at this one- thinking I never saw that before- Tele body- 4 knobe, humbuckers. A real purpose built guitar and Charlie knows what to do with it
Charlie is a very versatile musician. He took this on a differerent key and thats what made the track extraordinsry. Love this band and their style of playing
This is played in the key of G, same as the RS. Can't tell if he used open G tuning, but one can play this in either open G or standard tuning. Good job for sure. :-)

I think he's playing the bridge pickup most of the song.
The main reason for this HTW sound is the open g tuning Keith uses on that track.
