That never changed, she always said that even when he didn't want a relationship with their child. So many women get stuck in some horrible relationships because of society expectations. It's wrong! Everyone should equality valued period and not for a status. Mel went through hell and back with the ex husband. People believed that she is so strong. Too Many perceived strong women took their own life because at some point they break under the pressure. Simon Cowell was very instrumental in getting her out of this nightmare. Glad to see her being back to a happier place. .she has even reconciled with her family x

Although I don’t think the question was completely appropriate, she managed to answer it without giving a simple “yes” or “no”, thereby making room for the possibility of a good relationship with Eddie Murphy and his new wife and kids. It also allowed her daughter, with Eddie Murphy, to continue growing with less of a drama to worry about.
