Ernie's Adventures in Space (2000 HD)

Ernie's Adventures in Space is a Sesame Street game that was developed by The Learning Company in 2000. It was later released in 2001 on a 3 CD set along with Elmo's Deep Sea Adventure and The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland by Sesame Workshop and Encore Software. It was also released again in 2005 by Sesame Workshop and Encore Software. The game is intended to teach children the fun of exploring while teaching other concepts as well like matching and problem solving.
In this game, Ernie and Bert have a new apartment in space. Ernie arrives at the apartment while driving very fast and panicking Bert. After arriving, Ernie invites the player to come explore space with him and gives the player 3 space tools they can use to explore space: space hand, space eyes, and space ears. Ernie then pulls a lever that releases one of Bert's collections into space. After losing Bert's collected items, Ernie promises Bert that the player and Ernie will look for the missing items while exploring space as well.
The player can move Ernie around in the spaceship and control when and where to stop. When stopped, the player can use the space tools to explore what is around them. The player can also pick up the missing items if they see them with the Space Hand. There are also various side activities that can be played while exploring space with various Sesame Street characters. There is a landing pad by each character that the player can land on to play the activity.
When the player returns back to the apartment, Bert will count how many of his missing items you have collected. If the player has collected enough of the missing items, Bert will thank the player for helping. Afterwards, Ernie will pull the lever again and release another one of Bert's collections into space, prompting another search from Ernie and the player to locate the missing items again.
