It's not even luring, it's exploiting basic human impulses. It's like the sign outside the server's public villager hall that say "do not enter with bad omen." Well, I wasn't going to, I'm usually a kind and responsible person, but now I WANT to! Difference being that I resist the urge and Grian just leans into it heart and soul. Which makes for very entertaining videos. If I start creating CZcams videos, that villager hall might be toast.
I said the same thing on scars video, I hope he gets a bunch more people with it and recruits them into the flying creeper army to keep getting more people with it.

I also love how everyone immediately decided grian was the second creeper with just as little information. If scar wanted to be truly evil he would place and light tnt when he plays the sound. (Don't do near anything that shouldn't be blown up like chests or intricate builds)

Grian (in case u read this), for the bridge, you could build many littles rocks, and add a jump boost 2 beacon, so then you can jump from rock to rock, without having them to close from each other.

Another Idea for breaking into Mumbo's vault: Estimate the coordinates of the interior, divide that number by 8, rounded to the nearest whole number, then go into the Nether, and build a portal there at the coordinates the previous calculations yielded. This should get you in and out relatively safely.
Except portals don't always spawn at the exact coordinates, even when possible. Also, dividing by 8 might yield a decimal value, if the coordinates of the vault don't line up, which could mess things up even more.
Since you still haven't done anything about fixing the way into the Entity: How about having the entity laying a pile of "eggs" containing many of the shops, and then since it's already fairly insect-like give it a head that's "eating" something on the ground that provides a ramp straight into its open mouth? Alternately, start selling string there from your mob farm, and then have it grow spinarets and start making a web that people can climb up towards the spinaret hole.
So, uh, if that attempt counts... does that mean that a second transfer of diamonds needs to happen? Because, if so, that's some impressive diamond generating ability from Mumbo there!

I have an idea for “tomorrow grian”. You could link your collection system to a nether portal and then on the other side add a hopper train or use ice to send it to one big portal that links all of them up and then put an item sorter there
There is a resource pack on vanilla tweaks that let you see when kelp is mature by adding flowers on it. Not only is useful, but it's also nice looking.
hermitcraft seems like a good server to get distracted on honestly, i'm impressed that you all manage to get everything you do done at all! but it's always good to have some shenanigans between projects to make things more interesting, and a lot of fun to watch
For future reference Grian, when opening a space like the rocks that you need to then make mob safe... use a bucket of lava to both provide initial light & to create a kill zone for any mobs at the bottom.
He could just make a few light holes in the ceiling, then move away from the place to make the mobs despawn, and then come back. Problem solved, ready to spam torches with not a mob in sight..
A water bucket would also have worked wonders. Put a couple water sources at the top, let them flow down the sides and pool all the mobs in the middle at the bottom. Also the bonus that if the creepers do go off, if they're standing in water it shouldn't break any of the blocks.
Cleo's reaction to the creeper prank might just be the best moment in HC history, my god I've never seen such a genuine panic out of one of the members like that
Tbf, it's not like all of them are good at both building _and_ redstone. Mumbo's only recently been improving at building (and by recently, I mean the past 3-4 seasons) while Grian and Bdubs are kinda dabbling at redstone? Bdubs is definitely having more success tho lol.
The second creeper joke in this has me wheezing like the way he was running put and held up a clock in fear made me think they were gonna aggressively yell "TIME!!!" Has me giggling so hard
For "tomorrow Grian" , maybe add some steampunk tubes or waterways that connect the rocks to Dwayne to make it look like people are interested in the Entity and finding ways to harvest whatever is inside of them, using Dwayne as their main hub of operations Edit: or you could funnel everything into droppers that would drop them straight down into hoppers connected to Dwayne, though I'm not sure that they would load when you're out of range

Recommendation, it could be cool if one of the floating rocks had holes in it and the inside had crystals that make it look like a geode. This would be cool to see and if anyone can do it, Grian can.
I know you don't go for the most efficient mobfarm, but an easy way to improve your farm is swapping the magmablocks for soulfires. Soulfires deal twice the amount of damage so mobs die faster and help with the mobcap :) Also if you want you could swap that hopper minecart for regular hoppers as soulfires are less than a block tall.
Not sure if you hurts the part for transporting the items but I think have them spit out from a dispenser down rock to rock and all the way down to a collection area
A water stream going through your flying rocks and cascading down would look amazing! It could even transport the items that your farms produce as it flows! You could also build aqueducts on the sides of the rocks with a different style for each one (matching the theme of the rock). This project is so cool
It just occurred to me that a lot of grief could be avoided by adding, "Include hidden/fitting light sources in the build", into any checklist you use to help keep track of things as you're building them. It sounds obvious, but just adding your preferred hidden lighting method right next to your block palette, could help a lot with the mob problems. You'd be including it in the foundation of the build, rather than viewing it as a decoration to be added later. I honestly feel stupid for not thinking of this before.
as someone who does this a lot (it is a life saver) a nice idea for mossy/grassy builds is hiding lanterns or torches underneath thin moss (not blocks) it kind of works like carpet and you can do more than just one next to each other for extra light!

Another Idea for breaking into Mumbo's vault: Estimate the coordinates of the interior, divide that number by 8, rounded to the nearest whole number, then go into the Nether, and build a portal there at the coordinates the previous calculations yielded. This should get you in and out relatively safely.

Except portals don't always spawn at the exact coordinates, even when possible. Also, dividing by 8 might yield a decimal value, if the coordinates of the vault don't line up, which could mess things up even more.
Since you still haven't done anything about fixing the way into the Entity: How about having the entity laying a pile of "eggs" containing many of the shops, and then since it's already fairly insect-like give it a head that's "eating" something on the ground that provides a ramp straight into its open mouth? Alternately, start selling string there from your mob farm, and then have it grow spinarets and start making a web that people can climb up towards the spinaret hole.

I have an idea for “tomorrow grian”. You could link your collection system to a nether portal and then on the other side add a hopper train or use ice to send it to one big portal that links all of them up and then put an item sorter there

For future reference Grian, when opening a space like the rocks that you need to then make mob safe... use a bucket of lava to both provide initial light & to create a kill zone for any mobs at the bottom.
Or he could have just lit it up as he was building them.

He could just make a few light holes in the ceiling, then move away from the place to make the mobs despawn, and then come back. Problem solved, ready to spam torches with not a mob in sight..
A water bucket would also have worked wonders. Put a couple water sources at the top, let them flow down the sides and pool all the mobs in the middle at the bottom. Also the bonus that if the creepers do go off, if they're standing in water it shouldn't break any of the blocks.

Tbf, it's not like all of them are good at both building _and_ redstone. Mumbo's only recently been improving at building (and by recently, I mean the past 3-4 seasons) while Grian and Bdubs are kinda dabbling at redstone? Bdubs is definitely having more success tho lol.

For "tomorrow Grian" , maybe add some steampunk tubes or waterways that connect the rocks to Dwayne to make it look like people are interested in the Entity and finding ways to harvest whatever is inside of them, using Dwayne as their main hub of operations
Edit: or you could funnel everything into droppers that would drop them straight down into hoppers connected to Dwayne, though I'm not sure that they would load when you're out of range

I recommend using your moss farm as a bone meal farm, so that you can speed up your bamboo farm for your dried kelp farm.

I know you don't go for the most efficient mobfarm, but an easy way to improve your farm is swapping the magmablocks for soulfires. Soulfires deal twice the amount of damage so mobs die faster and help with the mobcap :)
Also if you want you could swap that hopper minecart for regular hoppers as soulfires are less than a block tall.

A water stream going through your flying rocks and cascading down would look amazing! It could even transport the items that your farms produce as it flows! You could also build aqueducts on the sides of the rocks with a different style for each one (matching the theme of the rock). This project is so cool

It just occurred to me that a lot of grief could be avoided by adding, "Include hidden/fitting light sources in the build", into any checklist you use to help keep track of things as you're building them. It sounds obvious, but just adding your preferred hidden lighting method right next to your block palette, could help a lot with the mob problems. You'd be including it in the foundation of the build, rather than viewing it as a decoration to be added later. I honestly feel stupid for not thinking of this before.

(it is a life saver) a nice idea for mossy/grassy builds is hiding lanterns or torches underneath thin moss (not blocks) it kind of works like carpet and you can do more than just one next to each other for extra light!
