Interesting hack. I'd like it better with a checkpoint or two though, since it looks rather long.
Good soundtracks too... That first one in the level is from a little-known SNES game called Terranigma, a third entry to the loosely-connected Soul Blazer series (Enix closed its US subsidiary before the game was released; so everywhere got it except for North America).
The song fits especially well since in Terranigma it plays in Louran, at first glance quite a lovely town... until you wake up after going to sleep at an inn to find that it was all just a sweet illusion. Louran is actually almost completely run-down and infested with flesh-hungry ghouls (some of which will have their head stay behind after death and then try to explode in your face...), ghosts inhabiting armored shells that instantly warp you back to the town square if one catches you, and... possessed furniture...? Yeah...
Screw the zombies and ghosts; ever been killed by a coffee table? It's pretty goddamn demoralizing.
