Beautiful. I first came across Japanese ambient and environmental music during my years at university. I used it as background music to write my essays.
During the pandemic, the music really helped bring a sense of comfort and relaxation. It was a fantasy away from pandemic isolation to far away scenes of Kyoto and the beautiful gardens of Japan. Now I can't wait to travel there in the spring and realise this dream, listening to these albums while I admire cherry trees, maple leaves, the sky, the sea, the mountains, and the mossy green.

This so authentically captures the essence of Japanese ambient music - not easy to achieve. I can hear the influence of Hiroshi Yoshimura (the master, in my opinion) but you’ve taken it in your own direction. You will get to Kyoto one day.

It might be worth reaching out to some of the bigger channels who promote similar kinds of ambient music to this. Growing your audience could open doors for you, and either way, for sure, you'll be able to share your music with loads of people who are seeking these sounds 🙂.
