Oh gosh I can’t remember exactly what brushes I used here but most of my brushes are just Jackson’s own make watercolour brushes

hngggg,, pastel watercolours seem so useless because all u gotta do is water down ur paints, use less paint, save money, but dang,,, still wont stop me from wanting them they're so pretty 😭😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺🥺
TheWipal hahah yes! Any excuse to buy new watercolours im a sucker for them! I think these look different to watered down paints it’s more like they have pigment white added they are so pretty!!

TheWipal The difference is pastel colours have white added (in any medium.) These pastel watercolours can be made by watering down as you state and then adding a little ZINC white (not titanium.) Zinc white is often provided in watercolour pan sets. If you haven’t got zinc white a tiny bit of - very - watery titanium white watercolour/gouache will also work but may give a slight chalky look depending on the quality of the white used.
