This one could be controversial and I am sure I will offend a few people with some of the bags or brands I will not buy from, but these are just my opinions! When these bags cost so much money, choices have to be made and these are 8 designer or luxury brands that I just won't buy from, don't like or don't love enough to buy.

I guess marc Jacob & senreve are more a premium contemporary brands. I do have a marc Jacob tote bag & it's a great, practical and functional bag. I had senreve aria bag. Even tho I think it's a great bag but it's a bit too stiff for my liking. Overall, These are the type of bags which you don't have baby them and they can withstand anything.
I agree Dayle, Marc Jacobs is "contemporary designer". But I love my MJ bags and totes, huge fan.
I agree with you on the Marc Jacobs tote because although I love the size options, I can’t get over the fact it says “the tote bag” on the bag itself 😅

I just bought the canvas colorblock mini one and think I will enjoy it for summer!
I use my Marc Jacob tote bag for work . My high end bags aren't to carry in a hospital storing gloves and telescope . So I appreciate the price I pay which was $275 Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Chanel just the name of few aren't going into job . But with that being said, Mark Jacob can be a luxury for people that cannot afford the high-end designer purses. So I'm glad that they are available bottom line. I'm just glad that you have different choices and options.

Burberry trench I highly recommend! although with our climate be careful you will not be able to wear for a long time (only spring and fall) too light for our winters

You should consider a bag in that Bulgari emerald green, that colour would look so good on you. Burberry Nova Check from the late 90s early 00s when they did Navy, and a teal coloured check. Surprised the Dior bags from the early 00s with the flowers and numbers are not back out.

I'll be very curious to see what Daniel Lee will do with Burberry. He's credited with bringing new life to Bottega Veneta, and the Burberry runway collection for fall was really nice. Time will tell.

I own a valentino blue cobalt suede woc....I love it. But it also seems too fancy to me now. I have a chanel woc but I feel comfortable wearing it on a normal day.
I'm a lot better now on really thinking through how the bag fits in my life....not just buying pretty things.

I have several marc jacobs totes. Not keen on the canvas version but I have one. I have the teddy mini & micro & leather mini & micro but Chanel, Dior, LV etc are way out of my price range. Don't like the LV brown bags but don't like brown 🤷🏼♀️😁

I have 2 Senreve bags, I bought their vegan leather bags, and they are pretty good, amazing quality, and low-key if I need an understated bag, so I do like them
The rest of the brands you mentioned I'm not a big fan as well, they just don't appeal to me that much

I want to have a well-rounded lux collection but yeah there are brands that I just could commit to..I would always go back to LV and YSL. I admire other brands too but yeah get what you love.

I totally understand this! I love Versace and Burberry clothes and things but their bags are not impressive. I have dresses and sweaters (and tons of coats from Burberry) from those two. They make great clothes. But the purses are cheap and feel cheap. I will say - there is that old Louboutin and Louis Vuitton collection that if a good preloved one crossed my path - i would totally snatchup! Those were great. The current Louboutin bags are just boring.

I owned both Bulgari and Senreve bags & sold them. I don’t see many or anyone wearing a Bulgari bag in the states. It’s only through the UK influencers have I seen it on. As Senreve, it’s quite heavy, bulky feeling.

How louboutin’s not comfortable at all. Last weekend I tried most gorgeous red, glittery Dorothy shoe from them. It was stunning. So uncomfortable. Terrible. It’s a shame the shoes are gorgeous

i had a mj tote, i really liked it, but just never used it. as far as balenciaga goes, i wont buy from any house under kering because of the balenciaga stuff. they own that company and allowed it to happen. this includes gucci and st laurent. sad, but true.

I follow you for your personality, not because we have any taste in common. But dude, I am soooooooo on board with all of these 😂. I do have a 2005 Balenciaga City bag and a 2020 (I think ) hourglass bag that I love and will not part with. But I am as disgusted with the current Balenciaga brand as you are. I have no LV bags: I have the Faubourg brogues and the GM agenda. I will not buy Hermes because I don't need to beg anybody to let me part with my money. My Chanels are all from around the 2010's. Celine is the new black .

As a mum I have to take a stand against Balanciaga. That advert was shocking. Bad enough that childhood seems to be sped through today. But, I won’t support the sexualisation of children, ever. I hope the brand dies.

@@ameliarosescloset I worked briefly in advertising world in my youth. The brainstorming they do before anything even leaves an idea table. Is argued with and challenged Now I worked there twenty years ago. There wasn’t the great push to include minorities or be respectful to cultures. I was intially in the travel departments chiefly to come up with logos and catchy slogans. So I know that Any advert Balanciaga created was ‘okeyed’ by a minimum 50 people.
i'm torn on the marc jacobs tote. I mostly want it because i just want it as an alternative to the ysl rive gauche tote. But i might just buy the rive gauche tote in another color that i want.
The brand i probably wouldn't buy from would be Chanel. Other than the makeup, the prices are just too high now and not my style.

That damn marc jacobs tote just won’t die! I’m beyond fed up seeing them everywhere. Never seen a senreve in person and I’m thankful! I think they’re so ugly and plasticky. They’re not cheap either!
They aren’t plastic lol. They are actually very nice, Italian leather. I don’t have one but I’ve seen it
@@katemiller7874 yes, but they still look plasticy. Kind of like the Prada Saffiano leather which is super high quality leather but just looks plasticy due to the coating. The advantage is of course that it makes it much more durable, water-, rain-, scratch-resistant.

Is anyone else embarrassed to wear there Chanel bag at the moment? I feel prior to 2019, Chanel bags went with everything. It’s was effortless, carefree and chic.
I feel embarrassed to wear mine as it attracts too much attention. It almost feels wrong as it’s a period of austerity for many people. It feels really insensitive and tone deaf.

I have always refused to buy Chanel. I'm not interested in Loewe, Senreve, Miu Miu, Laboutin, Vanentino, Balenciaga, and Bottega. After my experience in Burberry, I won't buy anything from them ever again. I love Hérmes leathers and colours but not so keen on their bag styles... But you know, things change don't they ;-D
