I think it's really funny that the studio that makes this is called "Game Mill" It's...kinda accurate looking. Looks like these games are shipped out for high prices at low dev cost.
I think you hit the nail. The game clearly has less than 2 years of development time, I've seen fan projects better than this. I believe that is pretty much them getting investors or making shitty games, where they can earn what they spent and more by making the fanbase play games for more than 2 hours so that the refund is no longer valid.

Quite a few titles, including the movie tie-in games. Those movie tie-in games, released in 2002 and 2004, on the GAMECUBE, look more fun than this game. On top of those tie-ins, however, I've also watched a retrospective for Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360 games. Shattered Dimensions, mind you, came out in 2010, and Web of Shadows came out in 2008. Both of which look better than this King Kong game, which released in TWENTY-TWENTY-THREE ON THE XBOX SERIES AND PLAYSTATION 5. There is no excuse for this poor quality at such a steep price.

This has to be their entire shtick, just pump out branded names and get some quick money from parents and kids that don't know any better ... Some of their Nickolodeon games show promise, like the All stars game but 0 follow up, just DLC.

Graphics arent everything. Valheim is one of the best survival games ive played and it has charming stylized graphics that has low resolution textures and low poly models. But this game right here is actually a scam wtf? Why use a picture in the cutscene???
