Sir there is so much deliberation about this issue that 494 scored 650+ but according to me all those who gave Exam in Punjab centres are not necessarily Punjab domicile candidates...Many non Punjab domicile students might also be there who selected Punjab just for the sake of appearing in exam only.. For example
1.there might be some wards of Defence personnel who are posted in Punjab but will sought admission in there respective home States
2. Candidates of Areas of Punjab's bordering states like Jammu kashmir students might have given exam in Pathankot centres, Haryana students might have given exam in Patiala centres, Rajasthan students in Bathinda...
3.The most important thing is that in 494 students we are also considering Students who gave exam in SAS nagar (Mohali) ..considering the fact that Chandigarh including tricity is mostly preferred by All the North indian candidates because students take coaching there and also centers are easy to locate there
So according to me this figure of 494 who does not gurantee that all are Punjab domicile candidates. We must wait for BFUHS open merit for all such considerations

Sir ...there r 494 students from Punjab who have +650 marks .....and there r 243 seats in GMC ......if I consider ist 100 students who took AIQ seats (which is not quite possible) and 50 candidates r from reservation side and 50 from PWD and NRI which will convert to open category ( these r open minded maximum side) ....
Then 100+243+50+50=443
So as per this GMC cut off sud be 650+

U r right...but least from punjab will be able to opt AIQ outside Punjab as there r high ranker outside Punjab.... For example in haryana there r 3700 candidates +600 .....whereas in punjab there r 1085 who have +600

Nice . Just want to add that last year around 50 to 60 students are above 660 but this year arrnd 150 are above 688or 690. In my opinion this year more students will take seats through AIQ which will affect the outcome.
