I agree with that. A light in Mary went out when Francis died. She went on to have other relationships, but her heart never seemed to be 100% in it.
@@valeriemangan2064 yess. I would say that light faded a couple of times throughout the show before he died, but with him by her side it returned to her. Without him she could never seem to get it back.
