This MV summarises quite well why I love Arknights. It understands what it is, and maximises on it. Sometimes EDM pop music is cringe on video games, but this song fits the mood of Obsidian Festival so well.
Everything about Arknights oozes style, and it's such a good balance between creative and pop. Not to mention the artstyle is amazing and the characters are so lovable. I've never been so in love with a game in a long time, keep it up Arknights devs!
I have so much fun in Obsidian Festival... But man, OF-8 is bane of my sanity.. my operators is death with those fire spread.
Edit: it's been 11 months since then.. I finally killed those Volcanics Slugs with E2 Exusia and Rosa... IT'S FELT SO GOOD TO RETURNED THE FAVOUR!

In the first time in my life I realized that this memory of this game WHILE it was happening is going to stay with me, and I will refer to a time like this one as "the good ole days." Usually those pass by without me realizing that until years into the future. Thank you Arknights, I will play this game for as long as it exists.
11/9/2022: I couldn't be apart of a better community, fellow friends.
I just love Arknights for how much attention they are giving to *every.single.event* so far. There has not been a moment I didn't feel welcome by both the developers and the community~
Obsidian Festival only added in the experience + as much as I didn't know anything about the characters before jumping in, all the characters grew on me so quickly!
For me Arknights is the best game of the year and hopefully we get the L2D's sometime in the future~

And since its not a massive community, it makes it even much better.
@Strasznik Grani, Obsidian Festival, and Operation Intelligence are 3 in total (tho OI is just a small mini-event). but even if the events are rare, what makes them worth it is that when it comes they don't disappoint. they really make good events when they make one.

@Strasznik I'm guessing you missed Grani's event which makes 3 = 15 days each = 45 days out of the game's lifespan so far in EN servers. Let alone the Ch5 drop which we got way faster than CN. From what I've seen CN had to wait 1+ month for a event to drop. If you still got complaints after Contingency Contract(The most difficult and interactive event so far) you are free to come back here~

What other "Games" that are Gacha are you even talking about? DC? 7DS? These are the most steady/popular atm and one is recycling events with the same premise every 3rd "event" while the other(7DS) I heard had its first event and now its back to grindfest. Or maybe you are talking about Afk Arena who don't know what event even means~

Actually this is the only fresh looking one. With the sea water and coral enviroment even the volcano, ITS just look beautiful but the other are just the lungmen city and the unnamed desert.

This is such a cool event. A simple but always appreciated story, lots of fan service (music, outfits, funny dialogues). LOTS of rewards and whales can grind as much as they want. And of course the main event: New stages!

I feel like this part of the song is supposed to be Herman's wife singing. "Our love's still after I'm gone." It could also be the Rhodes Island's operators talking to the Doctor because of the first line, "I'd walk through all the fire for you", since they went to the Siesta Volcano and they could possibly die, and the line could also be a bunch of Siestan's saying they will explore Siesta's entirety for a loved one.
And the line "Our love's still here after it all." could represent a lot of things about the event.
Siestans after Siesta is destroyed, Herman's wife, the Doctor and the Rhodes Islands operators, everyone sharing memories from the Obsidian Festival.

Shining is absolutely gorgeous, and by far one of the most beautiful characters in the game

You know, I use this during my run. Feels nice and somehow relaxing, imagine thinking about your arknights waifu during a workout.
After I finished chapter 5 I thought It would be nothing left for me to do... However, when Obsidian Festival hits, it makes the game alive for me again. I never struggled so much on a stage before until I met OF-EX5 and EX6 CM. Damn, I love this game!
